Perfect choice

The following review is for NSW124v3, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

i bought two of these NVX subs and installed in a down fire box that I also purchased from Sonic electronics, paired it with the Hifonics 1500 watt Rms amp and was blown away at the sound and bass!!!! Even though I only have it wired at 4Ohms (600 watt rms) it hits very hard. Perfect price and I can't believe the sound of the bass, very crisp to the sub sonic they are very clean sounding no mud here.... In my opinion these should be a lot higher in cost as these speakers blow away the competition by far. I've been building systems for over 20 years now and just can't say enough about these subs. Buy them you can't go wrong with these!!!!

Nvx sub

The following review is for NSW124v3, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

So far this sub is really good. I've compared it to a kicker comp 12 and a pioneer 12 and it is far better than either. I've ran it a t 250w rms and 400rms and at both the sub runs great. It hits really nice, right now it is in a slim truck box and it still slams! I would definitely go for this sub vs a kicker or pioneer and it cost the same! You can tell from the looks that it is a high quality sub and is well worth the money!

Great bang for your buck !!

The following review is for NSW124v3, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

I have two of these running of a Boss cxx2705 amp pushing 600 watts at 4 ohms , one in a sealed box and one in a ported box . I am amazed at the base and throw of these subs for the price . Having two types of enclosures I get the best of both worlds nice tight base and thundering bass from the ported enclosure . I was told by the expert at crunchfield that I could not get any type of good bass with two different enclosures but I personally like what I hear , in fact I actually had a complete stranger compliment me on how good my system sounded ! I was pulled over for system not because of the volume but because the officer could see ripples in his coffee . I simply asked him what the decibals were from a Harley Davidson , so I got off with a warning and I have not even turned my system up past half way up during the break in period of my subs . For the money these are well worth it , you can tell they are built for quality . Having all this power I save gas money , I just turn it up a little , put my little Fiat 500 in neutral and bounce to where I am going ( just kidding on the last statement) but honestly they hit pretty hard with great throw . No noticeable distortion at least at half volume which is pretty damn loud . They will probably go up in price because of the quality . I do extensive research on all my car audio equipment before purchasing . I own all NVX products except for a Pioneer HU and a boss 5 channel amp . All my wiring , my cap , my four speakers . my excellent tweeters and passive crossovers . My next investment will be a NVX line driver which will super charge your amp without actually increasing the wattage but the intake voltage, which will increase the efficiency and sound output . I've read every review on almost every component and see people complaining about durability and blowing speakers to burning up HU to amps . In my opinion most of the problems people encounter is because they don't understand that these are not toys or your clock radio and they immediately try to push every thing to the limit . I learned 40 years ago once you turn up the volume past half way , you start producing heat where a 50 watt speaker can actually be blown 30 watt amp . I am 51 years old and I have done mostly home audio but I am no novice in car audio either . I started car audio at age 21 You can read what you want to read but experience is the best teacher !! NVX is a great quality brand and at a reasonable price . Take my advice with a grain of salt , but I could be right !! Enough about NVX . I am very impressed with Sonic on all my purchased equipment . Very fast and courteous service . I will ONLY use Sonic for my future car audio needs . Sonic rocks and rolls !! Try it you will like it with no disappointments just takeyour time for proper break in before you crank it up and NEVER turn volume all the way up because you WILL pay the price !! Sonic and NVX are 2 thumbs up in my book .

I ordered 2 for a friend they sounded good and hit low but had to much power on them so he blew them but they are perfect with the correct amount of power

More value than you know.

The following review is for NSW124v3, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

These subs look great. Their surround is high quality. Their travel/throw is surprising. They feel great. They can be used for SPL and SQ. The manufacturers even recommended an RMS wattage on the low side of what it's capable of.

Better than expected.

The following review is for NSW124v3, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

I didn't expect that much, based on thr price. But they have totally impressed me. Build quality is far better than anything I have seen I'm this price range. Amazing value. Of course there are better Subs on thr market, but not at this price. Don't expect these to compare with a pair of Sundown audio subs, but for the price, these can't be beat.

Sound Quality with some Bang!

The following review is for NSW124v3, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

NVX is all I will purchase for my car audio needs. I have the VCW 15" in my car and this NSW 12" in my wife's car. I am more than satisfied with the build quality and performance of NVX PRODUCTS. I have had all the brands in my years and NVX beats them all. Better hurry and purchase any of their products before they realize they can charge twice as much and I will still buy anything from them. The sound you receive is impeccable and they look superb as well. Great job NVX please stick around in the industry. Sonicelwctronix.com is the only place I will buy from. I have been a customer of theirs since 2003. Great job Nate and everyone on the Sonix team.

Great Sub

The following review is for NSW124v3, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

I have had subs in my cars since I started driving 20+ years ago and let me tell you, this is the best low power sub on the market. I built a 1.75 cuft box tuned to 32hz with a 4" Aero Port, powered by a 250 watt alpine amp. this sub plays very low and very loud while remaining musical when playing music other than bass tracks. It far exceeded my expectations of how much bass you could achieve with such low power. I also added the grill which is built well.

Great Subwoofer at a Great Price

The following review is for NSW124v3, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

I bought this to mate with NVX's JAD 900.5 5-channel amp. I run the sub channel on 2 ohms into a 1.5 cu ft. sealed box. I love it!! My main music is Rock/Metal so I don't a any bass notes bleeding into the next one. This combo gives my plenty of volume with a powerful, quick hitting punch. It's really nice when the double bass kicks in on some of my Metal music. Been running it for over a month and haven't had any problems at all. I highly recommend this sub. You can't beat the quality or price.

Avoid At All Costs

The following review is for NSW124v3, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

Do not cut this corner. Subs are great... for about 5 months until they blow out on you. Even with proper break in they DO NOT last! I've gone through two sets already.

amazing subwoofer

The following review is for NSW124v3, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

I have this subwoofer wired @ 2ohm on a boss r1600.1 with the gain adjusted to just before clipping and NO bass boost in a 1.75 cu.ft. slot prted box. This sub sounds quality. Slams better then the alpine type s it replaced. Two of these would really beat the block but one is enough to satisfy the craving.

Great Sub

The following review is for NSW124v3, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

Have this running off the NVX JAD900.5 wired at 2 ohms in a slot vented enclosure. Sounds great, I would say just as nice as a Type-S or the Kappa Perfects I have in other vehicles but these are less money. If you are patient you can catch these on sale for a really good deal. I would have no issues buying the next step up in the NVX lineup. I have used a bit of everything from NVX and thus far have not found anything I did not like. If you do not need to have the label of a more known product and want the best bang for your buck, NVX is becoming my go to brand. I wish they made a single DIN head unit

Under rated

The following review is for NSW124v3, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

I am 1 week into my break in method (so feeding about 100 watts) and these subs sound amazing. Have one sealed on one amp for top end response and one ported in 2ft tuned around 34hz for bottom end. People who are smoking these subs should refer to the manual cause they are a lot more sensitive than rated (actually 92db@1watt or 96ish at 2.83v) so anyone getting these should start with that 2.83v like I did. Thanks for selling this brand, when I get bigger car and go with 2 ported and 2 sealed I'll be ordering the nvx 10f cap!

Very unsatisfied and disappointed

The following review is for NSW124v3, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

I was amazed at the specs and price of the woofers when I first ordered them, but I soon learned that what's on paper is not always true. I had the speakers wired down to 1 ohm and a fried immediately. Then they were replaced and wired to 4 ohms. I am using a Polk Audio PA D1000.1 wire to 4 ohms @ 600 rms. These are rated @ 350 rms. I have two @ 4 ohms being pushed by 600 rms and they froze up again. These woofer are over rated In power handling or they're just plain old "poop"

Awesome sound for the price range

The following review is for NSW124v3, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

I wanted to try NZX subs rather than using Kickers or Diamond Audio again. I chose 12 inch and out into 3.22 cubic feet sealed enclosed. It sounds great. I am very pleased with the product and plan on using more of them.

Box looked opened, and yellow glue

The following review is for NSW124v3, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

When the sub arrived at my home, the box it was in appeared to have been opened. There were no decals, manual, warranty card, nothing. Not sure if these things are usually in the box, but there were none. The tab to hold the lid was also torn. Not much of an issue, but just felt suspicious. I'll continue by saying this subwoofer puts out decent. Nice smooth bass, fairly loud on 250w. But even at 250 I hear noise coming from the woofer like its fully maxing its suspension out. Backed off on the gaim a little and it goes away. Signal is not clipping. Not sure what the deal is. Still sounds great though. As other reviews have mentioned there is yellow glue coming from the seam around the cone. Again not an issue. Just pointing it out. When wiring I'd suggest 14ga or smaller wire as the terminals are small. It's not a bad sub if you want to add bass to fill in. And not to shabby as far as loudness. But the build quality reminds me of the old big box retail subs that you put in your first car with neon light strips.

Value- 5 stars for the price

Look- 3 stars for being solid black and not 4 or 5 for the chinsy feel.

Durability- 2 stars for mechanical noise and yellow glue

Features- 4 stars for being dual vc and having decent output.

Ease of use- 3 stars because of the smaller terminals.

Decent amp for the money.

The following review is for ACA-450.1, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

I was searching for an amp to power a RE Audio SCX 10d4 which needs 450 watts rms.

This is the first amp I've purchased since about 2007 so I wasn't sure whose to choose.
Didn't want to dish out upwards of $200 for such small power.

I came across this one and decided, for the price, how bad of an amp could it be?
In 2007, I did buy some powerbass 2XL 12" subs and loved them.
So I decided to reconnect with the brand.

Very satisfied with this amp.
It powers my subwoofer well and seems to give good clean power to it.
I do I have the sub wired up to present a 2ohm load.

The low pass and subsonic are both decently accurate on the hz cutoff.

Have nothing really bad to say about it.

Runs a little on the warm side.

I'm actually surprised, given what I paid for it.
I did miss that it was a class A/B amp so I was a little shocked at the size although it still fits under the front seat of my 2008 sierra which is all I was after there.

If this amp has the power you need for your setup, I say buy it.

Good Amp

The following review is for ACA-450.1, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

I purchased this to run a pair of PPI SN.8 subs. The power matched good for those subs and seems to work well with them. Stays pretty cool and the price was great. My only complaint is that is says "compact" but this thing is 15" long. Not a big deal.
