This wiring kit replaced my 0 gauge kit and it made so much more power. It sounded great. This is a true 4 gauge kit.

Wow!

Put these speakers in the front of my GMC Sierra and they kick ass! A little pricey and only used the actually speakers so I have lots of accessories left over. Just had my system tuned up and now that they are broken in I can really crank my stereo up. They sound great loud and I love it loud. Great for me. Bad for everyone else who doesn't like my music. Too bad for them.

Have this kit in my car and i love it. Wire looks great and is so flexible its crazy. says 1000 watts max but i got 2000 and haven't blown any fuses, now i have some voltage drop but nothing a bat cap cant fix

High quality product

I ordered this kit about six months ago, and in my book this the real deal when it comes to quality. I installed it in my vehicle and its currently wired to a 900 watts rms amp.(kit rated @ 1000 watts)
No issues have surfaced. The thickness is 4 gauge as advertised, not like others that make lame claims on their labels. So buyer beware of fakes when ordering your amp installation kits. I am very satisfied with this purchase! You know what they say "You get what you pay for!" It might be a little pricey but its worth the money. Kicker has good products and stands behind their name. I strongly recommended it to anyone who knows how to properly install sound systems.

Not Bad.

I used this kit to hook up my Hifonics amplifier to a Rockford Fosgate subwoofer and the only problem i had with it was the RCA cables stripped. Besides the RCA cables it a pretty nice kit for the price.

JBL 660 GTi

WOW super clear and powerful no distortion at super high listening levels, beautiful imaging, had Focal Utopia 3-ways and these blew them away! Great high end speakers and crossover, true audiophile component set. Use a pioneer DEH-80PRS head unit with these and they sound amazing.

JBL 660GTi

Great speakers, I wish I could find midrange speakers with clear voice quality. These 660GTI's are more for bass..

Superb Wiring Kit.

The super flex wire is incredible. Who would have thought that it would be possible to bend a 4 gauge wire in less than a 2" circle?! Cable length is just perfect, except that I could do with and extra foot more of ground wire. RCA cables are fine for two channel systems, but I need to buy another 4 channel cable to complete my system.

Running Kicker ZX700.5 Amp with Dual Kicker 10C104 @ 2 Ohm, 4 Kicker 08KS680 @ 4 Ohm /e, and running strong.

If you need a superior wiring kit. Get this.

great speakers

Awesome sound and Power handling , no distortion even with high Volume . Driver/Midrange could and should produce a little more bass . Tweeters are almost eardrum piercing . Speakers are very heavy , make sure they are properly secured inside doors . Crossover ( one unit for both channels ) is impressive , both in size and performance . It is about as big as an Amplifier . Depending on location in Vehicle settings on Crossover are easy to adjust . Packaging ( Aluminum case ) is what makes these speakers so expensive . Cardboard box with Styrofoam would have sufficed . I do recommend the JBL 660 GTI
to anyone who is serious about mobile HI FI .
By playing Pink Floyd " Dark Side Of The Moon " is how I checked the performance of these speakers . Note : these speakers should be paired with a Sub Woofer to bring out the full potential .

When only the best is good enough for you

This is a Professional Speaker. Meaning its sounds like a pair of studio monitors. They are without a doubt the best sounding speakers you can get at this price. They are very revealing and you will hear everything, including all the crappy recordings and crappy mp3's. Make sure you use a high quality source with these and have them tuned properly for your vehicle.

I work in high-end home audio and have ran car audio shops for many years. Nothing I have heard in this price compares. If you are looking at these, that means you like your sound. Pull the trigger and jump in!

JBL 660GTi

I've had these speakers in my Charger for over one year and have yet to find a system that sounds as good as it. One of the woofers went out with a bad voice coil and Sonic Electronix hooked me up with a replacement woofer. The clarity and seperation are superb. The only negative of having a audiophile quality system is that I can definitely hear how poorly some CDs are mastered. I am using the Pioneer Premier P800 PRS head unit and two Stage 4 PRS A900 amps. I have the speakers bi-amped and have the crossovers set in the neutral setting. I have been using JBL speakers exclusively since 1975.

Amazing speakers. I have had seven pairs of components and these by far are the best I have ever owned. I compete in car audio. No one will touch my scores with me running these speakers.

Why go expensive when you can go kicker for such great value!

Recently purchased this amp kit to power my kicker zx 700.5 amp. It provides all the power this amp needs to get my truck rattling. The wires are great. They really can flex and bend and get into any of the tight spaces. Don't let anyone tell you that kicker amp kits are expensive and overpriced and not worth the money. The only people that will tell you this have probably never owned such quality cables. Plus, they have never shopped at Sonic Electronix that has such great pricing. I would definitely buy this product again.

Incredible Sound!!!!

I had a pair of MB Quart 6.5 components in my vehicle that I thought sounded great but..... they lacked the umph that a speaker should have when you really wanted it. I heard about the 660GTi speakers from JBL and decided to give them a try. I'm utterly shocked at the sound quality they give out - even at loud volumes!! Absolutely zero distortion and amazing performance. After tweaking of amps and deck, I've never hear a speaker give out more than I expected!!! Well done JBL!!! Bit expensive, but still worth it in the end!!!

Hands down the best

If you think this is just expensive wire because it says kicker and they claim they can tie it in a knot. Then think again because this is also silver tinned which reduces resistance which means less voltage drop. Also means less heat, which means more voltage. The RCA and fuse holder also can't be matched. Great quality overall.

Absolutely the best sonic quality of any 6-1/2" component set I've ever owned... and I've owned many brands and models. JBL should consider un-discontinuing this product... but perhaps with less functionally-extraneous packaging to reduce the cost. a bit.

Just love kicker

I had to up grade from my kicker 8ga to this 4ga . The 8ga is to small for my JL Audio 360.2 amp .

This speaker component works good. It has a good fidelity sound. I like them, it was worth buying it. I recommend these speakers, the only important thing is to tune them up really good. I'm talking about the equalization, once you do that really good you'll get the best quality from them, but trust me those sound really good. That's all I can say to the people who want to buy them.

When my order arrived I knew this was great quality. The kit had everything =I needed plus more. The 4 gauge power wire is solid and flex is not a issue. Music bangs much harder compared to the cheap off brand I had before.

It doesn't get any better than this!!

I've had a lot of different component sets and some costing 3-4 times these JBL's but these are simply the best set of 6 1/2's made!! JBL/Harmon knows how to build audio equipment that is second to none. The DIYMA forums tests speakers through Klippel testing and the JBL 660GTi 6 1/2's performed at the top of the list!! These absolutely rock! You won't be disappointed in these components I promise. I just bought two sets since the price dropped and so should you!!!

The design stays true to JBL's continuing mission of providing workmanship second to none. They have yet to be properly tuned to my remaining car audio - but currently I catch next to NO distortion. Assured that once I tune them - I will receive none whatsoever. Granted, its imperative to pair these with a correctly rated amp.

DAMMMMN this product is GREAT! Its better than alll the other brands and cheaper, its super thick and tough. My whole jeep is a Tank now. Road noise is greatly reduced and all rattling coming from my car has stopped, this is a MUST HAVE for your car, truck or whatever! It does have everything you need for the installation of a system. But the ground wire needs to be as lot longer. For a good ground it should run to your battery also.

Great kit

I purchased this kit because I figured it might give me a bit more power, and because the power cable I had was a little too short from the last cheap scosche kit that I had. The wires are very high quality, extremely flexible, and definitely true to gauge. My amp says not to hook it up with anything less than 4 AWG, and with this kit I could barely fit the power and ground wires into the inputs. Also, just a note. At first I was a bit stumped with the fuse holder. It comes with a small metal adapter in it for smaller wires. In order to use it with the power wire you have to take the adapters out.

The best car speakers I own..

I originally attempted to purchase 2 pairs of Boston Acoustic's SPZ60's. Fortunately the 2nd pair was on back order and in haste and slight wincing at the cost, I purchased a pair of the JBL 660Gti's for rear fill. Well, there is really no comparison between these speakers and although the SPZ's are very nice speakers, the JBL's are on a completely different level in sound reproduction. I sold the SPZ's and replaced them with another set of JBL 660Gti's. These speakers sound amazing.

Great set of wires

These cables are nice and flexible and very easy to run. I have yet to blow a fuse with these cables and I installed them a little over a year ago. No noise interference.

I installed this sub into my 89 Toyota Supra (hatchback) and I must say, this thing pounds. I knew it would pound because of the hatchback style of my car but either way, you cannot go wrong with this subwoofer. I have it paired with a Kenwood Mono amp (1800w) and they are a gread combo. I have to tighten down some things that managed to come loose in my trunk (like my tail light screws!) I would fully recommend this product again and again. I would also buy from sonic electronix again in the future as well, nothing but a great experience with them.

I would definitely recommend this kit! The wire is no doubt true 4 gauge and the whole kit is very well put together. I bought this in 2009 and still have the wire running my system. I am glad I bought it when I did.

This is a great amp kit. Very thick guage wire but it's more flexable than any I've ever dealt with. I did have to cut the amp kit to install the fuse and holder which i thought was a bummer but overall im verry satisfied! thanks sonic!

The Autosound cds are a must for car audio. I have used them to tune my system, and now it rocks! There are many different tests on these cds. So, if you have a rocking system that needs tuned, Sonic Electronix has what you need.

Excellent Tuning Tool

This CD is essential for fine tuning a high end car audio system. Directions are printed on inner jacket and are very easy to undetstand. I wouldn't use any other brand car audio set up disks then these.

A must have for every car audio enthusiast! Be it a basshead or SQ oriented people. It teaches you where the instrument should be, gives you an idea of what sound-staging is all about!

AutoSound 2000 CD-104

Its a good disc to tune your system, but I rarely use it. I highly recommend the DD-1 but if you don't have that kind of money this is still a good choice.

Very Detailed

This disc is awesome, I wasn't far off with my own ear but this disc did help me fine tune some details in my clarity and my low end, now my system is super crisp and hits hard at the right time if you know what I mean!!!

autosound test cd (ultimate amplifier level setting cd)

If you wish to set your gains using an oscilliscope this is the cd for you. I have set the gains of several car audio systems using this cd and have noticed an improvement in sound quality. Using your ears will get you close this cd in combination whith an oscilliscope will get you bang on the money. Good stuff.

Checking my ears

Bought this on a whim to double check my ears to see if they were as good as I think. Well, found out I'm still there. Did amps via VOM & checked my ears to see if I had speakers & sub in the ball park.
This is good for a novice and will help teach them what stuff should sound like.

A very useful tool for all sound systems!

So far, I have only used this CD to fine tune my home stereo system. It was very helpful in adjusting the speaker placement. Many years ago, vinyl records were used to do what this CD does, and I even had one that I used to tune my quadrophonic system! Fine tuning or adjusting stereo systems seems to be a practice of the past, and aids like the AutoSound 2000 CD are hard to find. I guess that is all part of the modern times situation of declining music quality!

Best Components available for the price!!!

It took me almost a year to actually install these. I am powering them with a Phoenix Gold Ti2 1600.5 and Stinger wires and accessories. My head unit is a Pioneer AVH-4100nex.
These are the best sounding and power handling components I have ever dealt with. I have used many other high end brands and these are the best speakers you can buy for the price they are available for. I have absolutely no complaints. I would recommend sound deadening you doors like I did so you won't have rattles. These mids hit hard with plenty of low end as well as very good midrange, and the tweeters are phenominal!!!

You're crazy if you choose something else!!!

I bought 2 sets of these and put them in my WRX with 2 Pioneer amps and a 10" JBL sub all running off a Pioneer deck. What these speaker can do is unreal!! They are competition level speakers. They have such range it's incredible. Not only are they crystal clear, they have ridiculous bass as well! I have audiophile friends who spend thousands of dollars on the latest and greatest, and they all want to buy my car now just for the system!!! The price difference is ridiculous. This is an amazing deal. You will keep these speakers for life. Don't miss out!!!!

Wow

These speakers deliver. Everything I was expecting but wasn't expecting. I have an amp to install to drive them but stole a 90x2 channel from the 4x10's I in the factory location of the Saab just to try after finishing the instal. Gives the kick and mid bass I was lacking. Dwarfs the Alpines I have in next to them. Make the Alpine sound like mid range drivers. The high end also woke up and I thought my system was strong there. Sub woofer hits nicely but there is a lot of music between 200 and up that adds definition. Used the leather trim grills and Wave Guide plate thinking the crossover is tuned to put more mids into the tweeter at that setting. Thank Sonic for making these available at an affordable price point. I thought the system was pretty good but it just got a lot more amazing. I recommend them and approve this message.

You are not serious about SQ in your vehicle if you do not have these speakers. This is the third set I have purchased. If you desire CLEAR, CLEAN, POWERFUL SOUND, no other speaker comes close. Remove the jumpers in the cross over and all the speakers (yes, the tweeters too) will push 150RMS. Pair these speakers with a JL AUDIO amp HD 150/4 RMS. It is a perfect match! CAUTION!! Check the clearance between your speakers and the grills. The extrusion on the mids are similar to a subwoofer. these are speakers are beasts!!

Wow, these are worth every dollar

Just completed my installation of these speakers paired with an Alpine PDX-F6 amp, I am still running these in but even at this early stage the sound quality is incredible, when you factor in the excellent discount I cannot work out why you have these in stock at all, they should be racing off the shelves.

Great speakers which live up to the hype

I purchased these speakers for over $700 about two years ago, and bought them again recently. I used the first set as a complete component set using the active crossovers from a Pioneer DEH 80. The SQ is exceptional. Clear sound at all levels plus tremendous midbass. Contrary to reviews you may have seen on DIYMOBILE message boards, the tweeters more than hold their own when used with the exceptional mids. Speaking of the mids, google their review from Erin of Medley Musings. Basically this person stated that the 660GTI mids are in his all-time Top 3 comparable to Scan Speak's top-of-the-line 6.5 mids. I wouldn't bother using the 660GTI's massive and fancy passive crossover. Go active all the way with this set and you can't go wrong.
