Antenna weak

I had this installed with entire sound system and I could not get even one AM station to come in not that big of deal but I do like listening to the Cubs and Bears sport stations . I replaced this antenna with one with an antenna booster and like magic AM came in clear as a bell ! I would suggest spending a few more dollars and buy the one with the signal booster . You won't be sorry and besides that I get more FM stations with a better signal . Sonic rocks but I would avoid buying this antenna .

After using this mounting system I have found this product to be a decent alternative to expensive big brand kits due to it's highly affordable price. This is not to be said without the downfalls that follow installation namely being that it tends to slide out of place or loosen itself and that it can bend with it being plastic and all. But otherwise it gets the job done.

Exceeded Expectations

This CD/DVD player has exceeded my expectations. The unit is clear and it sounds awesome. I've been buying power acoustiks every since the 90's, and once again they deliver!

The main reason I bought this unit was for the Bluetooth capability, it works great using the phone or streaming music. The dvd player works good if is not sunny. There isn't any activity on screen while playing music, you have 3 choices for wallpaper; you only can display what mode your in, can't leave it on home screen. It is a good unit for the price. I would save another 100 $ and buy a nicer one but this is a value

Didn't fit right

This was supposed to fit a Liliput screen in a 2008 Chrysler Town and Country and it 'sort of' does. It definitely doesn't look right. It sticks out all funny. It is easy to install.

Very nice head unit

It has everything I want and has the power to push my door speakers as well. Even though I have up graded those as well. But I didn't fit into my dash like it said it would so I had it modified and Im cool with that because its only a hundred bucks. But I'm also having issues with the DVD setting. I've only been able to play part of a movie so far. But thats fine also again it's only a hundred bucks ???? I just have to keep reading and enjoying it til I have all the settings down. Im happy with it and satisfied

Ummmm, hope it holds up. Holding these pieces in your hands sturdy is not a word that would come to mind. The double din fit in a 2014 Grand Caravan is snug so these brackets are not being asked to do a lot of supporting. Like I said, hope it holds up. Oh, they do look good.

Simple and effective

2016 Jeep, aftermarket stereo, my Fm reception is better than stock, so i don't believe this adapter causes any signal degradation.

This was very simply to install. Just connect each wire with your new head unit, plug in to the wiring harness of the car and away you go. The only thing I haven't done yet is adapt my steering wheel control but im sure I will get it with about 20-30 min or so dinking around. Highly recommended and makes life so much easier than splicing wires everywhere.

2010 ram 1500 SLT install info

This unit is plug and play with one exception. The ignition wire in harness is obsolete(it’s a dodge thing, no fault of harness). I had to route one from the 12 volt cigarette lighter In center dash. Hope this helps a fellow diy installer.

This product will work as intended once it is properly installed. For the life of me I cannot understand why complete installation instructions were not given. If you are curious the black box should be connected to the black plug not labeled for swc (steering wheel control). All in all it is a nice piece.

The dash in my Jeep is set up for the radio to be tilted slightly, this bracket doesn't replicate that. The difference is tiny and doesn't bother me, and I am the guy that this sort of thing normally bothers.

Could not get this to fit well in 2014 Jeep Patriot

I received this kit for free with the purchase of a Double-DIN touchscreen head unit from Sonic. While I appreciate free installation gear, this kit allows for too much adjustability and it took quite a few tries to get the head unit mounted in a position where the dashboard trim would fit over it properly. There are two sets of side trim pieces included in the kit, dubbed "short nose" and "long nose". I don't really understand this terminology, as the only difference appeared to be the width of the pieces. I first tried the wider "A" set, but they were too wide...could not get the trim bezel to fit over everything. The narrower "B" set worked, but now there is a noticeable a gap between the side pieces and the trim bezel. It also took a couple of attempts to get the height right, as I was having trouble getting the trim bezel to fit over the bottom of the head unit (you shouldn't have to use nylon pry bars to finesse it). Also, this isn't my first time installing an aftermarket head unit... maybe my 6th or 7th time in the last 10 years and I've never had any issues with prior installs.

Bottom line: this kit worked, but it was frustrating and I wouldn't spend my own money on it. Scosche makes a Chrysler kit with just two pieces, instead of four and at $13, I have half a mind to buy it and do a cleaner install. But... this is my wife's car and she isn't bothered by the fit and finish, so I may just leave it.
