Don't get this, RE Audio makes AMAZING subwoofers, and this subwoofer in this package is 100% amazing. With that being said, the box offered in this package is a regular plain old sealed box. This subwoofer requires a PORTED box.
I own this exact subwoofer and have used it in both a sealed and ported box, and trust me when I say this the OLD manufacture site lists the sealed box specifications as N\R for not recommended. The new updated site does list a ridiculous specification at .65 cubic feet optimal (the box coming in this package is .77 cubic feet) where as the optimal ported box is 1.25 cubic feet.
Just skip the deal and buy the sub buy itself with with the groundshaker box at 1.2 cubic feet and you will definitely be amazed and satisfied. If your savy enough you can fine an archived link that will show you the old RE Audio manufacture site which lists all the SEX subwoofer with N\A in the sealed box enclosure recommendations.
You don't have to believe me on this, but I really am trying to make your system sound the absolute best. With that being said, this sub needs the right box to do it. I love Sonic Electronix, I've bought all of my car audio equipment from here, and I'm currently running my SEX10d4 in the 1.2feet groundshaker enclosure they offer here, people actually don't believe I only have one 10inch subwoofer hooked up in my toyota celica. (I used to have two 10inch infiniti 1060w's and this one 10 in the ported box obliterates them)
