Used this package on my Mazda 6 i Sport and it covered the length of the car fine. Had scrap to splice off onto multiple amps.

I ordered this kit for my two 12" mtx subs and a one channel amp and it came with all of the wiring necessary to gets my subs bumping

Great entry level sub

Your not gonna find a better bang for the buck in this price range... iv'e had this sub for a few months pushing 400rms to it with my rockford amp. It sounds much better then any other entery level sub in the price range. Can't go wrong with this thing.

Yuuup!

Got this sub to round out my home theater system and I was not disappointed. Figured the paper cone would sound more natural and it absolutely does. Mounted in a sealed 1.2 cu.ft box and couldn't be happier. Good sensitivity means I don't have to crank the volume to hear it with the other speakers playing. Only feeding it 167W RMS, but I know I'll never destroy it and it plays loud and low. The home theater has a low pass crossover at 150 Hz but this woofer is fine with it, I expect it to sound even better once I break it in. I would have no problem mounting this sub in my car.

Pretty good subwoofer

This subwoofer is really nice. i use it for my computer set up so i can have bass in my room too intsead of just my car. im giving it about 300 rms watts and it handles it reall good. i have stuff falling off my desk if i turn it up too loud lol.

Great subs for the money

I bought this sub based on hearing other PB subs. Hands down the best sub you can get in this price range. I bought 2 of them and put them in a sealed .75cf (per sub) box and a Rockford R500-1 amp. They hit almost as hard as my friends Type-Rs and Hifonics amp. I listen to every type of music and all have sounded great. I highly recommend these subs for anyone wanting some good bass on a budget.
Have owned them for 6 months and they are still going strong.

The cons are they didn't use the spring loaded terminals and the cones are paper which means they aren't as durable as some others are. Also the looks for some maybe as they look kinda cheap (but they are cheap).

I ordered 2 of these subs and they do great im running 320w RMS to them since 2 is 450 the 320 does just perfect sounds great hits pretty low for tens sounds good and takes the power with no problem. for entry level they do great

Good Deal

Very good product, first you don't need to much power to hit this sub, I've connected to 190 Rms and sounds powerfull. Second, has a good price. For me, this sub does the Job very well.

A good deal

Entry level, but big sound for a reasonable price. I put it in a wood speaker box and use it at home because it's accurate enough for home audio and cheaper than buying a whole pre-built stack

Great Bass for size and money !!!

I have this in a 1cf sealed box pushing it with a 170 watt rms amp and I'm amazed by the sound. The bass is nice and tight.. I listen to everything from hip-hop to screamo and anything in between I haven't been disappointed. Don't get me wrong you wont be heard down the block but you would be heard!

power bass ps-10

yes these speakers are amazing they really give the music a good thump maybe because its papercone intstead of plastic the good thing is you really dont need alot of power to push these yes please do keep these speakers they have a real good design they are simply amazing thanks for the speakers

Temp Replacement

I bought this amp to temporarily replace my high end amp that is broken beyond repair. Hopefully it can power my subs till I can buy another high end amp. But bass on others reviews this sounds like it could be a promising replacement for awhile.

I shopped around but couldn't beat the deal I got from Sonic Electronix on this Raptor cable set for connecting my subwoofer.

I got 4 of these on a 600 watt powerbass amp for a match up boost with the amp below half. You can hear me from two blocks away, also I have full sized car so u know it takes power to hear me from dat far. They even make the car flex. Overall they slam, good punch for the money.

Great product

I used this kit for one Alpine Type R 12 with an MRP-M500 amp and it works perfectly! I don't know if it's true 8 gauge, but I'm sure it's not more than 10 gauge. Been using it for a month and haven't had any problems.

amp is ILL

This amp is great, it works perfect, drives my Kenwood KFC series sub perfectly, it bumps, shakes my mirrors, rattles my trim, this thing bumps! it is small enough to fit almost anywhere, and is a great value.

Not bad at all.

The amp has a great deal of power and a 24 db slope for the crossover. I simply couldn't find a better deal for the money. It's running at 2 ohm just fine connected to a 12" DVC woofer.

Good bang for your buck

I bought this amp to power one 12" SPL sub in my wife's Acura RSX. It's held up great so far and powers the sub pretty well. No complaints here.

Awesome amp for the price

I bought this amp to replace my old one because it went into protect mode and couldn't be fixed. I have a Power Bass 12 in a single cab truck and it shakes it to pieces. I would definitely recommend it to someone espically for the price. People don't let the price fool you...its a good deal

solid construction

I got this box for 2 Orion xtr pros. It is well built, really solid, and holds the two subs tightly. I can't get the grills on them though but I don't care about that. It has a nice range of sound and pounds out the lows I've always had ported boxes and was tired of how selective they were with the tones. This has more of a balance. It sounds awesome, also these two 10s take up less space than my one twelve box did.

Wow...what a wiring kit!

Included in a bundle, you'd expect it to be crap quality. Everything, from the fuse to the wires to the rca's, very nicely done. No complaints at all. Provides clean power to the amp without issue!

Good Deal (I think)

I have this powering my 500 watt rms 12" sub. Not sure if its really 400 but it shakes the seats. If it lasts good deal. Only had it for a day so the durability is 1 star, could very well be 5 though.

Fantastic Deal!

When first looking at this amplifier, I was a bit skeptical because of the cheap price and high wattage/rms. Figuring that the amp might not produce as much rms/wattage as they claim, i held off and waited awhile before finally deciding to make a risk and purchase them. I bought two of them to power my dual 2 OHM 15" subwoofer, which I had also gotten from this site, and installed them with my absolute capacitor, which I had gotten here also. And let me tell you. It is fantastic! What a deal they are! The Sound is loud and strong, these amps are built sturdy and thick to make sure it never overheats! I ran them for four hours and they got slightly warm! As they are a fantastic deal, the only downfall is that there is not data link for a bass remote. However, after looking into these amps, they last long periods of time, which is more than two years if installed correctly. If you're sitting and not sure what to do, install these bad boys. They draw minimal power from your system (which a cap helps tremendously) and never goes into protect mode. Great buy, great site, fast shipping even when its standard, and cheap price. What more could you ask for???!

Decent entry level

For an entry level setup, not a bad wiring set. I did have a few problems with the solderless terminals provided and ended up using some I purchased separately and just recently one of the RCA ends has come apart requiring some fine work to remove the bit from the amplifier.

Not enough

Why is it that amp wiring kits never come with enough ground wire? Besides that I would not recommend this kit. The wire is good quality but if your like me and want a stable supply of power to your amp then I would get a thicker gauge wire. This came with a package deal I bought and the amp is only 400 watt. This is not enough to keep up with the power requirements of the amp. I've done the big 3 upgrade and cleaned up all my connections between the alt, battery and amplifier and am running a 100 amp alternator and still have issues with my amp. The only thing I have not done yet is replaced the amp power cable with a 4 gauge and I am positive that this will correct the power consumption issue.

Great little amp

For the 6 months i have been using this amp. It puts out close to rated power for a cheap price. Ive been thinking about getting another one so i can run an amp to each sub.

Best amp for the price

I helped my friend select his system for his truck and I picked out this amp to push a 10 inch Kenwood sub. At 400 watts RMS his single cab ranger is bumpin! I would definitely recommend this to anyone else looking for some power for a cheap price.

Great Amp, Amazing Price

Properly powered, this amp puts out a lot of punch. I have it running a Kicker 10" TCVT with 400w RMS. Perfectly matched to my sub, and it hits hard. Not sure if it actually puts out 400 RMS though.

Worth every penny!

Not the best amp ever but for seventy bucks it is a damn good deal, it pushed my two 10" rockford fosgate subs hard.

Not true 8awg

If you only have to power a 200 watt amp or so then its okay but if you have a 500 watt amp i would not recommend this kit... True power ratings not your "peak" ratings either.

Great package

An all inclusive package of what you need to install a subwoofer/amplifier system to your car/ truck.

Main power cord was almost not long enough for my car. I ran the cables from the driver's side in the engine bay, then through the firewall on the passenger side back through the side floor panels to back behind my seats on the drivers side. (I couldn't run the cable through the driver's side firewall due to the fact that I didn't want to drill it to run the cable).

I recommend you find the path you are going to run the cables and make sure it's going to be long enough before you buy your cables.

Great deal

Comes with just about everything you need. BUT, if you are running a 4-channel amp to 4 seperate speakers you will most likely need more speaker wire. Other than that its good and gets the job done with no overheating wires or anything.

NICE KIT

Worked well for a low budget install. Wiring was nice and RCA's were ok too.

Absolute DSS-10 BLACK

Nice box and you get good sound from your speakers. I would recommend that you make the box about 2 inches taller or remove the lip that surrounds the front of the box because if you try to put a speaker that has factory grills (PIONEER 10" DVC SUB SUBWOOFER) you have to cut the lip to get the speaker grills to fit. Other than that its a nice solid box!

Decent kit

I am not sure if this is a true 8 gauge kit, but it is not far off. I upgraded to a beefier kit, but this came with lots of speaker and power/ground wire and decent connectors. For the price it is a good kit,and will get you bumping but if you have a lot of money invested in a nice setup just stick with the more expensive wiring.

Best bang for the buck

For such a cheap price I was a little skeptical, but after reading all the good reviews I gave it a shot. I heard Visonik rates their amps at 14.4v, but I installed a cap and at idle the voltage sits at 14.5v so I am confident it is putting out rated power and I am getting 600w rms at 2 ohms. It sounds crystal clear and only gets warm to the touch. This sounds like it is to good to be true for the price, but this amp performs and will not disappoint.

This amp is a great product I hooked it up to a Sony sub that is 300 watts RMS and it hits hard gets a little hot sometime but thats no problem first time installing something like this and did it by myself with no problems.

Had a little bit of trouble

The hole was not the size as advertised. I had to use the sander to make the hole bigger. After that there was no other issues with this box. Great buy.

Excellent Sound Quality

I have this amp setup with a 10 inch Rockford Fosgate Punch Sub and I am definitely impressed. I have excellent clarity and deep lows. Definitely provides a lot of boom for the buck!

Dont waste your money

Bought this amp to power a single 12" eclipse dvc sub rated for 500w rms. After 1 week of use it died, this amp really only puts out about 200w rms and is not 2006 ceo compliant. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! If your subs only require 200 watts then sure, but i would wait and spend a little more on a brand name you can trust. I just ordered a Kenwood that is actually 500w rms and 1000w peak, perfect for my sub. Wish I got that one in the first place and didn't waste my time. But got a store a credit so at least your dealing with a good company.

Visonik v31sx

I would highly recommend this amp as a good starter one for those who are budget minded. I listen to rock music mostly and it pushes my 2 tens as much as i would want them to. No issues after 6 month ownership.

More bang for less

Who would figure for under $100, a wonderful amplifier that can push the more expensive subwoofers with this. Never heats up one bit but I would say whoever needs to know about wiring should only use 10AWG for power and ground cables. It even has the ability to make others sick to their stomach when the volume is played high with this. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for the better buy at a very good price.

Good for a low end setup

First amp I have owned. Its just powering one 10" 350w rms woofer, and it does its job at a great price. Maybe it was just me, but it didn't have screws that I could find for the speaker wire connection, which was a pain, though.

i installed one of these amps in a 96 mustang... it powered up a 10" alpine type r with a Sonic Sub Box 1SA10 and it hits hard!

worth buying

its great for the price. easy to read labels. all the functions of an expensive amp. does get a little hot but not to bad. i would recommend this for any entry level audio system or some one like my self who just wants a little more depth

This amp is simple but is just AWESOME i have it mounted on my sub box and I love it. Puts out great power for my 2 12 inch earthquakes doesn't overheat at all and I have no problem using it

Great sub box

For a sealed sub box I loved it,really liked the flares in the front would definitely recommend for the price you can't go wrong I was thinking it might come with air leaks but found none.

Cheap materials

I got this with a sub amp package from sonic and i didnt really think much about the wiring kit. its just wires right? NO. the installer refused to use these wires because they were so cheap. theres not plastic surrounding the copper than copper wire itself. its dangerous and could catch your car on fire if used. DO NOT BUY.

Alternate uses for DSS-10

I did not use this cabinet in an automotive application. I was looking for a cabinet to use for bass guitar. I found this cabinet after a lengthy internet search, and thought it would serve my needs. I did some modifications, like removing the center baffle, and installed some 2" port tubes. I installed 2 Eminence 10" speakers, and was VERY satisfied with the sound. The cabinet is well constructed, and is an excellent value for the money. HIGHLY RECOMENDED !!

i love this box

This box is durable, light, pre-carpeted, and small but not to small to make not enough airspace! i just dont like the terminal connectors all that much. but they still work great!

Never tried this brand before, but was glad i did. Don't let the price tag fool you. Sounds pretty good and functionality was awesome.

Works great

Cheap and does what it's supposed to. True 8 guage wire. The little zippered case it comes in is great for storing all my leftover install stuff and fuses in.

i have this amp hooked up to a single 12" Audiobahn running at 2ohms, and it sounds pretty nice, i wasnt sure what to expect i have heard visonik doesn't run at the rms ratings at 12v, but more like 13.3v.
Overall i am very happy with this amp, worth the money
