Real Headphones that sound great at a reasonable price.

I'm not the type of person to spend more money than I need to get a quality product. I wanted a quality headphone for multiple devices without taking out a small loan! I took a gamble on these Aerial7 Tank Thrash units based on the spec's. I'm glad I did. I require head phones which simply perform and must sound really good. To my surprise, these headphones sound wonderful. I listen to mostly heavy metal, "thrash" and all other forms of rock and I will say these headphones deliver a real hardcore performance. Full range sound is reproduced pretty darn good! Bass is very solid, however will not exploded your head off of your shoulders! Mids and highs are clean, tight and accurate. With my headphone amp, these puppies go Metal Concert loud and louder without any distortion! My htc One V with beats audio sound pretty sweet however will not go super loud! The microphone cable does not have a screw lock to the headphones like the DJ cable has. The "thrash" band on top could have had the Kerry King spikes of death to really set this headphone off as a hardcore unit!!!

INDESTRUCTIBLE

The following review is for a previous version (1280).

I break headphones a pair a month. (I am talking about better to very good quality ones too) I sleep on them, drop them, sit on them, get them wet, pull out the cord and so on. These are going on 6 months and look as good as the day I opened them!! The sound is very good to excellent. Very natural and crisp. Very comfortable, stay on my head and surprisingly lightweight. A bonus is the removable cord, you can change lengths as needed.

not 80 bucks

The following review is for a previous version (1280).

These headphones go for 90 dollars plus around 10 for tax and shipping. I recommend the cheaper 80 dollar tanks because they are the same in quality. The headphones are good for the price but not the best.
