Love my alarm!

The only thing I don't like is it locks the door after you start your car instead of when you put it in gear so it is easier to lock your keys in your car while it's running but this alarm is great otherwise! It works and functions great and has good accessories! I did break my remote accedentaly but it works fine! The buttons popped off when I was riding BMX!

Great value if you can live with passive arming (non-selectable)

Great alarm for the cost. Alarms like this are being harder and harder to find at your local auto parts stores, and they cost 2 to 3 times as much. This particular alarm has a poor installation/users manual, but if you've installed one before it shouldn't be a problem. The real problem that you find out after its too late is that the PASSIVE ARMING is NOT selectable. This means 30 seconds after the DISARM button is pressed, the car will arm itself and the DOORS will lock (assuming door locks are wiring in). Possibility for being locked out of your car! Knowing this, I installed ONLY the DOOR UNLOCK wire, not the LOCK wire. Other than this, its a great value. So far all other claims are true, including durability, reliability, and other features. Impossible to trick out alarm by pulling off battery cable...alarm memory lasts forever it seems, and also remotes have large range.
