Worked great for a year!

Installed the Campack-700 and it worked great. Clear picture in color. Made hitching to my trailer a breeze. Now at the one year mark, the camera does not brightly illuminate the viewing area. The return claim is under review as it is just over the warranty period. However, the only way to exchange the camera is to send back the entire system. The labor cost alone to remove and install again is more then the cost of another complete system. Too bad they will not replace only the defective part. If that could be done, I would be very happy.

The picture quality would be just fine if it were not trying to mimmick a mirror. All you can see is the reflections in the car and not the view behind you. It only works when its approaching dawn, then the reflection is tolerable.

Best investment-extra on my truck.

I am very happy with the camera and picture quality. It has made backing up to hitch up my trailers a breeze. No more in and out of vehicle to see if I am close enough. People watching me back up to hitch to trailer are amazed, especially the ones that do not know I have a camera on the ball hitch. My only complaint is that I have to unplug the unit for my GPS to work properly. It looses satellite signal with back up camera is connected. It's not even turned on, but power must be going to the display screen to cause a problem. However, the product is worth it. When connected to trailer, I just unplug the unit and my GPS works fine. My GPS is an older Garmin, so that maybe some of the problem.

Great Package...!

This package is very inexpensive and very easy to install, it makes backing up to the hitch a cool breeze. It is the best accessory on the market. i have had mines running strong for the last year and a half.

I would say for the price it is a good deal and camera style its is good. But the monitor is really not long for trucks rear view monitor
