Great capacitor

I would recommend this product to anyone building a system around 1000 W. It definitely boosts my amplifiers output and creates a lot louder bass.

The Best

This capacitor can hold a lot of power and your lights will never dim even when your car is off i had a 2800 amp running from it the capacitor holds great charge for a lot of bass.

Great

Got this hooked into a 5000watt mono block amp with 2 12"'s. Needless to say it is unnecessarily loud in a s10 but it gets the job done. Works great although my lights still dim when I turn it up full blast, but that is rarely if ever. It is not the capacitors fault, it is Chevrolet's minuscule wiring job. Just need to beef the wires up under the hood and possibly get another alternator to fix that. But this capacitor allows me to hit those super nice kicks when they are needed.

Although I broke 2 screws mounting it to my box, it was really my fault. I screwed them in without watching what I was doing and broke them right there. Just a warning to watch out and make sure you aren't doing something stupid like me.

Comes with everything you need, although the connections are out in the open unlike my buddies other absolute cap. His cap has a tilted volt meter as well as a protective clear cover over the connections. Not really a bad thing just something to note.

Also good to note is that it blinks blue and red lights when you hit a note and it draws from the capacitor. Really nice touch in my opinion.

Needless to say it is a great cap at a great price. Would buy again if I build another system, but that won't be for a long long time.

not a true 3.5 fad

This cap is ok but not the best. The cap claims to be for systems 1000 watt plus, but its not keeping up with my brutus 1700.1 at all but looks good for now until I order my 10 fad cap.

Good product, serves it's purpose, Sonic is a good company to do business with! Wish it did not have all that crazy plastic wrap covering, though.

Very little head light dimming

I'm very glad I added this cap to my system, before adding it my system was absolutely draining my cars factory electrical system. I added this and an extra highpowered car battery and the only time my headlights begin to dim is after about 4-5 hours of intense music. Great product.

Does its thang

I have one of these powering 2 MTX Audio T812-44. Powers them perfectly and no problems whatsoever. Would recommend this to anyone with a 3k watt system.

Not great, not bad.

Set this one up with one 800 watt mono block at full gain, and one 760 watt 2 channel stereo amp at about 33% gain, both of them class D. I still get some light dimming, and it fails at extreme levels. I have to remain neutral on this one, as my setup requires a lot of power, and the battery in my car sucks. Definitely a great value, however I think next time I'll just spend the extra money and get a RF.

I marked low durability due to the fact that any 'can' style capacitor is fragile in nature, and all capacitors don't like operating in extreme cold or heat.

Works Great

I don't have one, but a buddy does, and this thing works great. He has 800 watt mono block hooked to 2 10" kickers in his big truck. His lights don't dim and no other power is lost.

Great Buy

If your running more than 2 amps with over 2000watt and lights beam when the bass hits, this is what you need.
