Great for the kids
I purchased these 2 weeks ago and did the install myself in a 2007 Lexus GX470. If you look on youtube there are videos on how to install these types of DVD players into most cars. The install went well even though the instructions were very vague. The screen is very good for kids movies. The best part is the USB/SD card slot where you can play multiple movies from flash memory. I've had DVD drives for the kids before and the moving parts in them will break over time. A USB drive has no moving parts and I have been using a 16GB drive to hold 8-10 kids movies. The player will also auto-continue the movie where it left off. The kids really like it since they can watch multiple movies without changing discs. I am now debating on getting another set for my X5 when we use that for road trips. This is a good product if you have kids.
There is a minor flaw in the product. The built in speakers are very weak and it is hard to hear when driving. You can either out put to FM radio via a built in modulator or use IR headsets which we purchased afterwards.
