ehhhh keep shopping

the kit will help you get started and for the price is not a bad deal. its definitely a beginners amp kit that will leave you buying more speaker wire and wire clips. the power wire its not 4awg and the brass clips are the biggest pain in the ass to compress on the wire. if you buy clips for your speaker/ power/ ground wire, get aluminum clips. although they arent as conductive as brass, you wont break your fingers trying to install them. as for the RCA cable, i had no complaints.

ehhh

For the most part this kit is ok be aware that the wire is not 4 gauge and u will most likly have to buy ends to put on the end of every wire for a better conection. the one probem i had with this kit was that the RCA wires were totally ***** up. on the right side one of the ends had a short in it and the other end I have no clue as to as whats messed up but I am sure it is. so I go to r**** s**** and get a new RCA end to replace the bad one on the right side and so now that side works. but when I went to plug it in it still didnt work. but if I unpluged the left side cable which is the black one the woofer got half power but when I pluged the left side back in it seemed to cancel the signal out. so i had to go out and buy another cable after this one had me runing around for a few days. also these RCA cables had more resetence in them then the new ones i bought. so bottem line is yes u get what u pay for and i recomend spending a little more money for a better kit.

good kit

This kit is definitely not 4 gauge but it does the job, my only major complaint is that the ground wire is insanely short, im just gonna buy another one separately though....

Horrible Product

Worst wiring kit I have ever seen. It's more like 8 gauge wire, waste of money.

good kit

I got this for a 300 watt rms amplifier and it works perfectly fine for it but I dont think it is actual 4 AWG. Its got awfully thick insulation and that seems to make the actual wire thinner. I have compared this wire to Memphis Audio 4 AWG wire and Rockford Fosgate 4 AWG wire and there is a very noticeable difference. So although this wire may not be exactly 4 AWG, it will do perfectly fine for lower powered amps. I would not recommend using this for anything more than 800 watts rms.

really good price

pro's- Price, shipping, and cables were good quality
cons- the ground cable is only a foot and a half and almost too short for all applications. The power wire was good but more like six gauge not four gauge.

other thoughts.... I bought the kit to upgrade from a 10 gauge kit that was installed when I bought the car and it wasn't good enough for what I am using now so I wanted to upgrade. I knew that I wasn't going to get a 200 dollar kit for 30 bucks and I like the kit overall. I would recommend for someone who wants a six gauge kit or so....
