8 Gauge Wire ?
If you are buying this wire because you need 8 gauge wire, do not buy this wire. This wire is a decent quality wire but it is not 8 gauge wire. It is at best 10 gauge but closer to 12 gauge. If you add the insulation it is 8 gauge but the copper inside is not even close to 8 gauge. I got two rolls of this stuff. It will be OK for other uses but for the use I bought it for I am out of luck and will have to wait another week for the correct AWG size wire to come.
It is good quality wire though it just does not meet AWG standards.
