Great adapter!

I have a Alpine CDA-117 and i have this hooked up to a RCA to headphone plug, For whatever else, like a movie player, or other type of MP3 player. I use my USB for my ipod and flash drives. It just pops right in.

Although i wish the stereo side just stuck out straight instead of upwards, makes it irritating to take my stereo out because it gets stuck on the top.

Alpine Adapter is better than the PIE

From what I have heard, the Alpine adapter is better than the PIE. I am buying the Alpine cuz everything I have is Alpine anyway. Sux that they dont have an Auxiliary input on the front of the deck. You have to buy a $100 ipod adapter in order to connect your player to the head unit (you cant even control the ipod except for with the head unit (slower browsing)). This is probably the best alternative. A $20 cable as opposed to a $100 one. Yeah, it doesnt charge the ipod, but you can buy a charger for about $20 as well.

Great value

works perfectly. a bit hard to remove once you've plugged it in but you won't be taking it off anyway. been using it for at least 4 months now.

Amazing

This is the perfect way to connect an I Pod to an older HU with no direct ports. SQ is great but not as loud as my other inputs
