Alpine CDA-105

Alpine has always been known as the "Cadillac" of radios and this radio is no different. I am 100% pleased with this product. I have heard bad things about the interface but I had no problems working it; if you are tech savy it will be no problem!

Alpine CDA-105

This is a okay buy for my first Receiver. But it has no remote, Why would I need a remote? It's just right there. I guess if your outside of the car & want to turn it up. no USB Cable Extension included. I did have a USB Extension cable that was laying around & Tuner Don't work that good, I don't tune in to FM radio that much anyways. I did find that the sub vol was low so I just changed the setting Subwoofer System from 1 to 2 & sub vol is at 15+, still kind of low not sure if its just my setup. When I turn off sub the amp on Receiver the sub amp stays on but no sound. My bro's Receiver turned off the amp. I guess it's a good thing that the amp stays on because it will turn off the 4CH amp too. I would of like it if there was 2 REM wires for sub and 4CH.

Nice little unit for the price

I have long been an Alpine fan, in fact I won't buy any other audio equipment after my years of pleasant surprise with their quality and performance. This unit is a great upgrade to that boring factory radio. It comes with the USB Ipod connector, and is very flexible with it's settings and options. I like the fact that this years model, unlike last years, has a much dimmer main button array, where last years was a little blinding at night in the car. It also supports multi-color keys. We use this unit daily in my wife's vehicle and love it. I haven't had any issues with it yet after about 3 months.

Awesome

I really like these speakers. They are really loud without requiring an amp. They are responsive and overall amazing for the price.

Awesome

this is an awesome headunit. I would recommend it to anyone that wants a quality sound system at an affordable cost. I got the ipod adapter and the ipod interface is awesome. Plus it has three outputs so I could connect up 3 amps, one for the subs, one for the rear speakers, and one for the front speakers.
AWESOME HEADUNIT. GET IT

Fantastic unit

I have had this unit on my Civic for 6 months, and absolutely love it. My initial plan was to buy this as well as some new speakers....but this little guy makes my stock system sound so good, I'm don't think I need them anymore. I was looking for a good, solid, quality, inexpensive unit with a CD slot (for those rare occasions) and a USB hookup. This is pretty much exactly what I needed.

PROS:
-Plays CDs (rare in units like this)
-Awesome sound quality
-Inexpensive (for a unit of this quality)
-Expandable
-Sexy

CONS:
-No 1/8in jack. I would like to have this
-Fast forward is slow......the preset radio buttons should skip to intervals in the audio file
-Expandable (Seriously....it is "ready" for everything, but comes with nothing. HD READY, 7 Band READY, Satellite READY, Bluetooth READY, etc. WTF Alpine, stop taunting me.)

tl;dr: This unit is awesome for the price. Get it, you will rejoice.

Great product

Wanted to upgrade my old Kenwood HU and I heard really good reviews about the Alpines. This HU is great. The only thing I don't like is the fact it doesn't come with a motorized face and you have to buy a separate BT module.

Best headunit

I bought this headunit replacing a JVC double din headunit i had in my civic. And i absolutely love this one!! I had the CDA-9884 and I thought that headunit was really good, but now that I came to this one, am really happy. Makes my type R hit much better then the JVC. ALPINE FTMFW

Awesome, Great Value

Priced the unit at B*** B** @ $199.99 plus installation kits, came to $258.98. Sonic's price was 179.99 including the installation kit. I had just upgraded the speakers in my Jeep Cherokee to Alpines when the factory Mopar unit started having difficulty reading burned CD's. When it stopped reading them altogether, I brought a handful of them to B*** B**, tried them all in this unit and they played super. This Alpine is powerful, with concert hall sound that will blow you out of the vehicle. The buttons are a little small and once you get used to the logic, it's pretty simple to operate. Found the blue lighting to be very bright at night, even when dimmed, otherwise - fantastic unit.

Great Radio

I will never buy another radio other than Alpine. This has great sound quality and is the greatest radio I have ever owned. If you can get this radio, get it, you'll be happy you did.
