Awesome Unit.

I love alpine equipment and this is my second head unit from them. I had one of the older models with the slower iPod connection.. As soon as i got this i was blown away. The ipod integration is amazing and quick. The unit plays everything i throw at it with great quality. Highly recommend and great price!

Nice unit, good options

I just got this unit for a CR-V double din face. SE sent along a nice install kit and harness that lined up perfectly. The unit itself is filled with options, even a HPF which I almost always use to protect my factory speakers from getting too many lows. The I-Pod controls work well, and it's bright and clear to read. You can adjust contrast, and several specific options, including bass and trebel focus levels, and the loudness feature boosts up those digital recorded files from disc or I-pod. I suggest this to anyone looking to have some options and great sound without breaking the bank. My only complaint is that the blue backlit buttons next to the rotary knob are just a tad bright for my taste when driving at night.

Nice but....

I like this head unit a lot the only this is that if you buy the ipod cord for the USB port on the ipod once you plug your ipod in you can't use the ipod to go through your songs you have to do every thing through the head unit which is kind of annoying don't bother buying the aux cord i tried that and it didn;t work either. Also if you buy this from sonic you have to buy the mounting kit to fit the head unit in to where your old one was separate also you have to buy a wiring harness separate also a little annoying

Simple Headunit

Good head unit but offers little features. If your looking for a simple deck to run your iPod in your car this is it. I think alpines have the best appearance compared to other head units. Its simple to use. would make a great addition to any teenagers car that lacks a CD/iPod radio

I enjoy this deck alot. the i-pod connection is user friendly and easy to navigate the i-pod through this deck. It powers my factory speakers with ease. Great product and is recommended.

Great head unit, easy to hook up all of your connections. Easy to read display, including the small buttons. The Ipod feature is fantastic, I use the radio to search/scan through all my music. Just a note, though: before you connect your Ipod to the radio, make sure the Ipod setting is NOT on shuffle, otherwise you won't be able to use the radio to search your Ipod for songs, artists, albums, etc.

Great Head Unit

I just received my head unit, and it is very nice. Great sound quality and the menus are easy to get through. It was pretty easy to set up and everything. I would recommend this cd player, and it is at a very good price on here.

One Word, Alpine!

great in dash works perfect! awesome bass engine and makes anything sound clean and clear although the ipod controls take some getting used to its a good buy

Really nice Deck - Very easy to use + sub controll

I love this deck. I run a $2,000 system with this deck and love it. It is really easy to navigate and works well with my iPhone (added the Alpine iPone connection). There are sub controls which is the best. I love that I can turn up the amp and not have to listen to the other speakers with higher base. It just adds another level of control without having to go and adjust the gain on the amp!
The iPod controll is as easy to use as the ipod itself - that is rare. The search function works the same way the iPods do.
AND it is XM/Sattelite compatable plus bluetooth (all need more hardware though)
I like this deck - it has all the goodies I need.
