Amazing Unit

I put these in my brothers focus about 4 months ago and man i must say it is amazing, there are no flaws in my opinion. I'm still running the stock blaupunkt speakers and it doesn't send out any distortion them. There are so many features, like subwoofer levels and a wide range of bass. The built in amp works amazing and with 3 pre amp outputs allows amplifiers for both highs and lows. I would absolutely recommend this unit to people, and i tell them to come here to get it cuase of there amazing prices..take it from me ive been doing car audio for 5 years now haha.. BUY IT

Another nice Alpine unit plenty of basic features without being overloaded. 3 sets of 4v RCA's front, rear, sub. Display looks good, shows date, time and player info. Good deal on this also came with the install kit.

Alpine removed some cool features, but overall a solid unit.

I have owned Alpine head units for years. This is my sixth, and replaced an Eclipse stereo which I disliked tremendously. The sound from the Alpine is superb, even if the radio tuner is exceptionally weak. Additionally, those of you who liked the swingface motorized design will be disappointed, as Alpine has removed that feature from their stereos this year.

The major gripe I have with Alpine this go-round is their love affair with Apple Ipods. The only way to play back lossless digital content using this head unit is to purchase an additional ipod adapter, and format your songs using Apple's lossless codec. I have gobs of lossless WMA files that I can not playback on this stereo.

I hope to try the HD Radio adapter in the near future, as this unit, like all Alpine head units I shopped comes equipped with Alpine's proprietary Ai-Net high-bandwidth connection.

Great features, decent sound.

I got one of these about 3 months ago and love it. It has very good quality output and has many different features. The looks are also very nice, but the only downfall is that in order to open up the features like hd/usb/bluetooth/ipod you need different adapters that are pretty pricey.

Very Nice Head Unit! Highly Recommended!

I've had this head unit for about 4 years and it is really nice. It sounds really nice. It gets good reception. The ipod connection is nice. I really like that you can control your ipod from the headunit itself. On holidays it will have animations that will show on the screen everytime it is turned on which is really cool. It also says happy birthday to you on your birthday. In my opinion this head unit is nicer than the current model Alpines.

GREAT HU!

This head unit does exactly what I need. Great ipod integration, and the enternal amp is good as well. Navigation is very fast, but my only complaint is that when browsing through files, after hitting the back button it brings you to the previous directory, and not were the cursor was last. I highly recommend this HU.
