CDA-9887

I've had this installed in my 07 Altima for almost a year now. CD's sound incredible with this unit. The only drawback is that you need to buy the Imprint kit to fully utilize this head unit to it's potential. The head unit faceplate has a clean design and the biolight display is very easy to read. The clock does not display when the power to the head unit is off.

Great HU for the price

If you need a 2 way active deck plus subwoofer control, this is the deck for you. Besides allowing me to pick and choose my individual drivers due to the ultra flexible crossover, this unit has time alignment AND a parametric equalizer. All I can say is I am impressed and my sound system has never sounded better!

If you are looking for something flexible with loads of tuning options, look no further than this HU!

Great head unit!

This Alpine CDA-9887 is amazing! I had a Sony xplod hooked up before & it doesn't even compare to how good this Alpine is! The only thing this head unit is missing that my xplod had is a color illumination button :(
Just cause the color dont change really isnt to important! This is by far the best unit i have had in my 94 honda accord ex!!! It goes really great with the rest of my alpine system!

Amazing

I've had this deck for over 6 months and it is definitely, by far, the best deck I have ever owned. It's one of Alpine's top decks that you can purchase and it is worth every penny. Don't go cheap with your deck, it is the source of your music. Go with the CDA-9887 and you'll be glad you did.

The Head Unit

If you are looking for a complete head unit that accepts future upgrade, this is it.
If you care about audio fidelity, this is it.
You can do almost anything that you want with this H.U.

If you are looking for noise, and don't care about quality, please, don't buy it.

Alpine rules the world

I've had this HU for almost three months and during this time i've been in music heaven. Everything sounds better. From hip-hop to blue grass it produces the best sound quality and my system is not yet complete. I plan to add an amp and sub to my system but for now this hu along with its fascinating features is doing the job well.

Great flexability

This head unit has options to set everything you can think of. From multiband equalizer, crossover to time correction. Subwoofer volume is a press of the knob and a twist to select level. You can preset 5 different Parametric EQ for various genre. EQ frequency hunting is also available for some detailed frequency tweaking. Sound quality is fantastic. Paired properly with decent amps and speakers, and they will amaze everyone with its clarity and detail. The only gripe would be when installing the anti-theft face plate, a little patience is required as is with all flip down face plate of any brand.
