Car Tunes

I own an econobox vehicle that this unit was installed. Easy to use product. Fits my needs for listening to AM with occasional FM tunes. Good value.

Fantastic budget stereo

Buying this stereo was my first step into car audio. I have no regrets buying this receiver. Replace the stock head unit even made my speakers sound better. The OEM stereo in '97 was garbage. I love the built in USB port. For $100 this is a steal. Has all the basic functionality the average person needs. I didn't feel like paying extra money for features like blue tooth, pandora, or direct ipod control. The stereo looks very nice unlike other ones in the same price range.

If you are planning on doing a lot with the audio in your car you might want to spend a little extra money on a higher tier stereo. There is no high pass filter which I kinda wish I had now. Won't be a problem once I get an amp for the speakers. There is only 1 set of preamp outputs. There is no subwoofer control built into the deck but I get around this using my amp's remote gain knob. These are small things that are easy to get around and won't apply to most of the people looking for an affordable head unit.

great upgrade

Great for factory upgrade. If you need more expandability get the CDE-123.

Simple But Great

This radio is a basic model but still has great features and sounds great. Accesses my Ipod Nano3G through the front panel USB connector. If you want a great sounding inexpensive Car Stereo, give this one a good look.

good price

Its a good price. But it was not what I expected. Not enough features.

good deck

Good deck, great for replacing a factory radio for better sound quality and adding a woofer for even better sound.
