Good for the money

Sometimes it will randomly start searching for music and stay searching for about 30 seconds when using a USB. But other than that great buy!!!

Awesome Radio

This radio is awesome. I bought to replace the radio in my 2001 Hyundai Tiburon that just died. I wish I replaced it 10 years ago. This radio has power to spare and all the features you need. The wiring interface and dash kit worked perfectly.

The only con I can see which really is not a con is there is no graphic equalizer. But your in a car and you can never have perfect acoustics.

Awsome in my 98 Blazer

I had purchased this from a local retailer for my 98 Blazer not expecting much more than a simple head unit. When I got this home and installed I was immediately impressed by all the features this unit has. Reads disc's and usb/ipods very quickly too. Has enough different input methods for a very long time of playing. Looks VERY nice in my Blazer with the bright blue and red color scheme. For sure recommend this to a friend again and again.

alpine review

This is a great head unit for the money. I installed it in my daughter's 1999 Honda cr-v to replace the original factory unit. I have the previous model in my Acura and she wanted something comparable. I replaced the factory speakers also with Alpine and it sounds Great. I highly recommend Alpine to anyone on a limited budget,it has all the features of the higher priced units-with-out the high price.

awesome cd player

1 reason why I love this head unit so much is because it has the double rca ports so you can put the alpine power pack to ad on to your system to make your head unit perform better, and power your speakers off an amp

Great little receiver

Once you get use to where setting are this receiver works very well. Easily add the Alpine mini amp to it and BAM! No amp wires everywhere. Only downside is you cant control an iPod through the USB but that problems easily fixed with the iPod cord that plugs into the back. Overall great product and improves sound quality.

Low Priced High Value

If you are looking for an aftermarket receiver with a good combination of performance, features, and price, you can't go wrong with the Alpine CDE-102. With a rated output of 18X4 watts RMS, it's more than capable of driving factory speakers and at least sufficient for most
good 2-way or 3-way aftermarket speakers. It looks good, is very easy to operate, and sounds great.

For a low-priced receiver, the CDE-102 is definitely high value. It has both front panel USB and AUX inputs. Plug a thumb drive into the USB and play all week. Or plug in a separate audio source, such as an iPod, MP3 player, or like I have, a "dock-and-play" XM receiver, and play even longer.

The CDE-102 is definitely worth considering and SonicElectronix makes it really affordable.

Sweet Head Unit at an even Sweeter price

i got this head unit, and i have to say that it is a pretty sweet head unit for the price. for an entry level head unit it's great. very easy to use and the installation was super easy. with the ipod control cable, it's super easy to navigate through your songs. and lastly, its an ALPINE, and you can never go wrong with an Alpine.
