Great head unit!
Excellent value, shipped quick and came with all the right parts for install into my 2006 Mini Cooper S.
One thing to note is that you need to buy the $30 Alpine ipod cable, my iPhone doesn't work plugged into the USB port up front as on some of my previous head units.
Sound quality is excellent and ease of use is great!

this thing is awesome! first of all...I am very picky and anal about anything that I spend my hard earned money on. I researched HU's until I was sick of looking!! the bluetooth works absolutely perfect with my samsung rogue with verizon! I can hear perfect and most people say that they can't even tell that I am on bluetooth. I love it! Don't be scared of the 18 watt power rating...it powers my cheap kenwood 6 1/2's just fine..with plenty of bass for my liking! I'm thinking about upgrading to a set of kicker ks650.2 component speakers for the front and also eventually plan to buy the alpine ktp-445 for a little more power. this alpine beats other head units hands down in every way in my humble opinion!!!!! should have gone with my gut feeling the first time! I only gave it 4 stars on durability because I havent had it long enough to know yet, but it's alpine and should be fine!

Gives off a clean signal, and easy to use. Only con is I wish it had 6 channel pre amps, but nothing some y cables cant fix.

Great Value, Excellent Sound Quality
Purchased this unit and had it installed in my 2003 Toyota Tacoma by BB about two months ago. I like the overall look of this unit. It fits well in my truck. The Bluetooth function works really great. I like the layout of the buttons/controls, however some of the most used buttons for the Bluetooth function are too small. The sound quality is awesome especially when playing MP3 files from a CD or USB drive. I also purchased the iPod cable which worked with my iPhone 3GS two times when it was first installed but now does not work now for some reason. It charges my iPhone though without any problems. Overall a great replacement for my factory AM/FM, cassette stereo system. 11/28/2010
