Exceeds my expectations, i usually buy kenwood, but alpine has excellent sound

Can't go wrong

I hade Alpine in the pass, this time I was trying to save with other units, at the end I just couldn't get the quality I wanted so I end it up with and Alpine, and I got a good deal here at sonic electronix so if u want to get it right the first time go with Alpine period... Will recommend this head unit for the price, quality, and functions big time....

I got a "Late Night Flash Sale" offer on this stereo and couldn't pass it up.

I went from a JVC Arsenal KD-AHD79 to this stereo and the sound quality is a night and day difference.

With both stereos EQ's set to flat, the Alpine sounds much more warm and full. I didn't realize how much detail I was missing out on listening to the JVC.

JVC claims to have 5V preamp outputs but after swapping in the Alpine with 4V preamp outputs I had to turn my amp gains down.

The Alpine TuneIt app works really well and is much better than scrolling through menus. I'd recommend downloading it and checking it out, it's free.

I took one star off for "ease of use" because the display is sometimes hard to see in bright sunlight.

Also took another star off because the button layout could be a little better. The next and prev buttons are tiny but the source button takes up a quarter of the space.
