This is a simple but amazing phone holder. I have an older car and could not find a good phone holder to work with the space or location i had until now. I love that it holds by a magnet and double sided tape. I don't believe anyone could go wrong with this item.

I've never really had a NICE cellphone holder before and for 9.99 you CAN'T beat this one. The magnet is so strong it literally will pull the phone out of your phone towards it. For giggles I kinda tossed the phone at it and it cought it NO PROBLEM. love nvx, they make amazing products.

Nice little mount

The adhesive base is a little small, would prefer the multi-surface suction cup. But at the price it gets the job done.
The magnet is super strong, even though the phone case holds the phone tight.

Perfect Fit

I have tried the kits with multiple pieces, and ended up spending a long time trying to get the right, left and dash insert aligned correctly. And normally having to tweak this and settle for that. This one piece unit takes all that away. Just fit the stereo to the kit, then plug in and slide into position. Dash piece snapped right over the dash insert. Easy. Only thing that would make it better is if the color of the dash inset was the same as the dash piece, but black looks fine.

Great unit for simple needs

Most of the double DIN head units are currently out of stock (everywhere) so instead of waiting, I bought the Alpine for my 2009 Kia Rondo. Sonic supplied the dash kit and wiring harness and it was an easy install. I really just needed a good head unit with a front panel USB port and line outputs for future amp and subwoofer and this fits the bill. It's also great that you can hi-pass filter the speakers when using a sub so they don't get any unnecessary bass. And, the illumination had an option that matches my orange Kia dash lights perfectly which you can see in the pic. The "Bass Engine" feature makes the Rockford 165 6.5" speakers I also bought here sound like 8's!! Rear doors still have stock speakers and they will be replaced soon and I'll eventually get around to adding my old DEI amp and 10" sub and then I'll be happy. This is a great head unit for those who aren't impressed by a lot of bling!!!

Ok so i have owned many alpine head units and i was giving this a try because of the price and this unit is not worth the money my usb never connects i have to unplug and plug back in the aux has non stop crackling noise and i run a amp and subwoofer this unit sounds like total crap for a sound system and another thing this says 4 volt rca output yeah thats a lie i bought it because of that but all and all its not worth the money its junk good luck to anyone who buys this unit the 172t id return it if i could very dissatisfied

No luck

Have this unit in My baja bug and love it so bought the same unit for my other beetle. never recognized the satellite antenna and even swapped one that is known to work and nothing. Then about 2 weeks later it wont even power on, checked fuse and nothing. too bad cause i like my other one and dont feel like trying to return anything.

The only thing is in the product description it says sd card well it does not have an sd card or micro sd card slot Alpine does not have any head units with sd or micro sd card slots. Finally!

Finally was able to get my hands on this unit. Wanted it for the Bluetooth capability. Didn't know it came with cell phone connectivity, that was a plus. I already had an Alpine CD head unit that had a remote control. This unit is also compatible with that same remote!!. A couple of cons: 1) The bass engine defeats all other sound adjustments when on. 2) The set up is a little more bothersome than I would like. But other than that I'm very Satisfied!!
