Great head unit.
It's packed with features and sounds great. I saw a review that said it did not include the mic for Bluetooth phone use. I thought the same thing when I unboxed mine, until I opened the faceplate case. I've always liked Alpine stuff for a reason, it's top notch.

Can't go wrong with Alpine
If you are looking for a good quality head unit you can't miss with this Alpine. I've bought alpine decks for over 30 yrs and haven't been disappointed yet. High quality for a reasonable price.

Nice radio.
Overall this radio is great. Plenty of features that are easy to use. I do have one complaint which really isn't about the radio, the Tune-it app by Alpine, which this radio is compatible is currently broken.

Great Product
This unit is easy to program and tune, includes alot of nice features. Your basically getting the high dollar cd player without the video capability. Im running 2 amps which power polk audio components and 4 x 12in mb quart subwoofers in a 2008 dodge ram. Sound clarity is off the charts.

Pretty good
I like the parametric equalizer, Bluetooth and general UI. There are some oddities like having to tell it to connect to your phone every time you want to play through the BT on your phone. Disappointed with the subwoofer pre outs. I had to turn the speaker amp way down and the sub amp way up to get it sounding alright. I had another stereo installed previously without the issue and my friend had the same issue with a model in the same series, so I know it's not just my setup.

Great Value, All the bells & whistles
Not only is the price right. But this receiver does all it says Bluetooth is easy to set up, XM works well. Radio functions are easy to navigate.
Cons are radio reception seems week, and for me when idle clock should appear. Overall a thumbs up. Buy it.

Awesome unit
Alpine has hit this one on the head. The controls are extremely easy to use and user menus are simple and easy access. Blue tooth syncs in seconds. Sound quality is amazing. Great unit you will not be disappointed.

Great Headunit
Alpine probably puts out some of the best headunits and this one is no different. Tons of features and control. Would recommend to anyone trying to build a system.

SOLID BUY -
I got this for my jeep wrangler, because i hated dealing with aux cables. I have it powering 2 6" polk mmc650s, 2 5.25" polk mm521s, and 2 4"x6" polk mmc460s. I split the wire running to the 521s and ran it to the 460s as well. These are all "water-proof" speakers because I do alot of off-roading in my jeep.
LONG STORY SHORT, this head unit powers all my speakers with ease and provides crisp clear sound. The bluetooth works great and it makes listening to music even easier now. Also this speaker can take alot of abuse. My old head unit would skip CD'S and cut in and out when i took my jeep off roading, but the alpine handles the dips and bumps with ease and doesn't skip at all when using bluetooth. the pre-amp out-puts are key too if you plan on getting subs.
BUTTTT...........
When i bought this unit, the description said the AUX cable input, and the USB input were in the FRONT of the unit. but when I got it, the USB input was in the BACK of the unit and the AUX was in the FRONT. be aware if you need a USB input in the front.

good review
good radio, already had the bt 147 so wasnt suprised abt the workings of this one. if the workings of this unit line up with what you are doing go for it has great sq to me. pros works great, lots of settings but useable ones, not a bunch of things to play with and mess up your music

I LOVE this thing.
Seriously. This is an awesome unit. The bluetooth audio (which is really all I got it for) and the hands-free work flawlessly. I've installed it in my 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee (with Infinity system). If you have a jeep with the infinity, you MUST cut off the RCA plugs and wire the harness right to the factory wiring locations. If you plug the RCA's into the back of the Alpine head unit, they won't have enough power to drive the system.
Anyway, the unit sounds fantastic, and paired easily with my iPhone 5. I might buy another one for my other car.

Great unit
This headunit does everything Alpine says, and it does it well. Blue tooth streaming audio is awesome and the Pandora compatibility is very cool. Old school look, nothing fancy on the outside, but a ton of features on the inside. Its worth the money and then some.

Awesome Radio for the money
So I consider myself an audio nut.... My first car stereo was an Alpine 2 shaft cassette deck with Dolby noise reduction. I spent the late 90's til the Mid 2000's running strictly Eclipse head Units because the shop I worked at sold them and they wereby far the best at the time. So I fast forward to Today. I wanted a new radio that had High voltage pre outs because I have quite the system to go in and would allow me to do Bluetooth audio. This Alpine definitely fits the bill. First while I am in the process of building the rest of the system the Head unit power is clean and huge upgrade over the factory. Additionally I downloaded the tune it app and set my crossovers on my factory speakers and that really cleaned the sound up. The only 2 things I wish were different is that I want a front USB port and looking back I wish I would have spent the extra money and bought the upgraded model with the better display. The current dot matrix display is dated and I just was being too cheap-lol

Nice feature for the price
Pros: HD radio, 4V pre-amp, USB, Aux, Pandora, 9 band EQ, lots of settings.
Cons: Display seems old school, preset buttons too small.
