Great replacement speaker

A definite upgrade for the center bass speaker in our BMW Z3 Coupe. Materials are superior to the OEM speaker and installation was a breeze. I cannot say enough about the customer service I received. It was fantastic. My original order had to be modified as the speakers were unavailable but Sonic kept me aware of the delay and offered a significant upgrade at a more than fair price! I love the fact that you can integrate this to a factory oem system or completely bypass it…it can switch automatically when it detects hi level signal or just use optical or Bluetooth inputs or all of them.

Could have been better

Would have been nice if SonicElectronix provided some type of bracket for the 3”. They are not an exact mount for the 2023 Chevrolet Colorado. I had to make my own.

Perfect for my application

Fit nicely under my steering wheel, right next to the factory amp. Modded some harnesses I found and didn't have to cut a single factory wire. I only use Bluetooth anyway so I don't miss the so-called "premium" stereo. A little complicated to set up but gets easier after using it for a while. The Android app is a little limited but better that dragging the laptop out for small changes. The only thing I would improve on is being able to interact with the transport (being able to skip or repeat or pause/play tracks) from the Bluetooth input device. Sounds great with 4 6½" HDZ's in my doors and a 12" R sub in the back (likely need to add an amp for the sub as its grossly underpowered with just this amp). Still very happy with this purchase and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
