Solid Head Unit

It's what I've come to expect from Alpine. Great quality, intuitive, and reliable. The only issue I've encountered was with the bluetooth features for the Iphone 5. My Iphone 4 worked just fine but apparently there is an update or software patch you have to perform on the head unit provided free by Alpine. I have only seen videos of it and from what I have learned it fixes most of the bugs but not all so I'm waiting for the complete fix, however, when using the USB cord connected to my phone's charge cable I have no issue.

This stereo is pretty nice. User interface is easy to navigate, buttons and appearance are quality unlike some of the other brands. If your looking for a good all around in-dash TV/Stereo this is the one, doesn't have all the features as some of the higher end models but definitely covers the basics. Only complaint it the firmware integration with the IPHONE, if your phone uses a new operating system Alpine lags on the updates.

This is a great unit, the features are easy to use and was easy to hook up!! The unit is a great value for all the features that you get with it!!

Alpine I've-w530

Awsome deck, everything you'd expect from alpine at its price range. Easy setting that don't get to advanced. It does not come with navi but you are able to download it into it for extra $. The touchscreen is sensitive enough to the point where your not mashing your screen like I have experienced with other flat screens. This deck is definitely nice and I love it. The only con with it in my opinion is the side wall buttons,(the not touch screen buttons) are and stay blue so remember this if your trying to have everything match!

Avoid!

Deck is visually appealing and has an easy enough to use interface. Loved the deck and everything about it until half of the display stopped responding to touch control, tried a reset, a calibration and no go....Ended up finding another one locally that the buyer assured he never used and it did very well appear as it had never been used as all the original packing was still in place. Hooked it up, had display fir maybe 20 seconds and display went white, guy was shocked and offered me a full refund. After owning 2 of these decks a d having both with issues I'd recommend a different model Alpine or even a different brand completely. Love Alpine and most of their products but I honestly could not recommend this deck to anyone.
