Great connection

This item connected my ipod video to my alpine CDE-9852 w/out any problems. It is cheaper than the pioneer adapter and noticeably faster as well. The speed of it is amazing and it is extrememly easy to connect.

Best thing since the iPod !!!!!!

This is awesome. I have this in my 2005 Dodge truck with an Alpine Deck CDA-9883. I can controll my iPod or iPhone with it. I love this thing !!!!! there are great ipod controls in the deck that works well. There is no loss of quality and it logs in to the deck as soon as you plug the iPod or iPhone in.
I can't say enough about how cool it is to have this for my truck!!
Get it - it is worth it if you have a compatable Alpine deck!!!!!!!!

simple and effective

simple. its a cord that charges, plays, and lets you use your receiver to control your music. great features, wish it was longer to put it in a better spot but i made it work so it gets the thumbs up from me!

Works Well!

This works just as advertised with my Alpine CDA-9885 Head Unit. I ran my cable to the glove box so I can connect my iPod and have it out of sight. Sound is amazing and it is very easy to go through all of your songs and playlists right on the Head Unit. Highly Recommended!

Alpine KCE-422i

I have this hooked up to a CDA-9883, and with this cable connecting my Ipod to my stereo, it's a breeze! I can select what song, artist, album, or playlist I want to listen to. To do this though, you have to have the Ipob setting of Shuffle off before you connect it to the stereo, otherwise you won't be able to use the radio to search for a specific artist, song, etc.

Nice feature

I bought a Alpine CDA-9856 head unit and this iPod cable on this website. Works pretty good, easy to figure out how to search through the playlists and to find a song. It's not as fast as the iPod itself, but it has a decent speed. The only bad point is that you have to start at A all the time, instead of staying at the same artist to find a new song.

Good product, well worth it!

Great product.. works perfectly

Works great.. I bought this cable becasue i have an older ipod and it doesnt work with the USB connection on the x100. but with this cable it intergrates my ipod right into everything like it was meant to be there. Very responsive and a great buy...

It works fine

Does what it's supposed to. If you have a Nano 4th Gen don't bother as the charge function will not work. Otherwise it's fine.

Great Ipod adapter

I just recieved this and have it hooked up to a 2006 Alpine CDE-9852 available here on SE for only $150! The ipod adapter works flawlessly. It is just liek operating the ipod in your hand. It is super fast just as if the ipod was in front of you. I bought the head unit and this for the reason of integrating my ipod and it is by far the cheapest and easiest way to do it. No bulky box to hide just a simple wire from head unit to ipod. The sound quality is also perfect.
