Why wasn’t this type of amplifier developed years ago?

This is a fantastic little amplifier, but it’s not flawless. On the plus side, this thing really does deliver amazing output for its size, and the convenience of strapping it on to the back of a mechanical-less Alpine head unit is ingenious. The only real downside is that you have to adjust the gains before you mount the radio, because once it is strapped to your face plate and screwed to the mounting brackets, the gains are no longer accessible.

Far Exceeded My Expectations

I wanted a small to boost my system with smaller foot print amplifier, that I didn't have to run wires into my doors for the speakers. After my research I came across this amp you what sold me was the (DDP) DYNAMIC PEAK POWER. Let me tell you this amp gets loud and stays crystal clear. I have the KTA-450 hooked up to JL Audio C2-690tx's. this set up is phenomenal. If you're thinking about this amp DOIT you wont be disappointed much louder than I expected and will pierce your ears if you max out the highs lol.

Absolutely amazing sound quality ????

I am blown away by this amp, which is installed in pair with the Alpine ilx-650 headunit. So nice that it fits behind the radio in dash, wiring was a Breeze. Installed in a 2007.5 silverado 1500. Absolutely blown away.

Perfect compact screen.

Wanted to put newer technology in my kids car so he had a back up camera, Bluetooth/handsfree, and a screen for map purposes. Powerful (small amp)

I really love how small this amplifier is...don't even begin to think small =less power...NOT THE CASE!!!This little guy packs a powerful punch..Super convenient mounting on the back of my ILX W650...(also purchased from SONIC ELECTRONIX)
I initially set it up to power 4 -70w RMS door speakers (it performed pretty good)
Now I have it bridged..powering only 2 of the same speakers (way overkill)...but that's how I ride..
DEFINITELY going to get another to power the other 2 speakers ..
Please don't get the impression that this amplifier can't handle a 4 speaker setup..it definitely can!! Just do your best to get 40-60w RMS speakers...you'll be pleased..
I went with higher power speakers and bridged my amplifier because I like (REALLY LOUD)

So far a great amp

I have this amp hooked up to an Alpine iLX-W670. On a 2018 Toyota Corolla with JBL GTO 6.5" component in the front and JBL GTO 6x9 in the back. Nothing over powering but it definitely brought my music to life.
