Amazing performance

I own an Alpine CDA-9887 for more than three years and I have tuned my head unit over and over. I had six different presets in the memory for different types of music,Rap,RnB,Jazz,Rock,House. I decided to buy the Ktx-100eq because I read an article that this Imprint calibration kit completes the Head unit in terms of capabilities, after using this kit I could not believe the amount of detail that my tuning lacked and image that my system had after i imprinted my sound system. We used my buddy's laptop to do this...his words after we done my car was "unbelievable...how does Alpine do this?" Its an amazing piece of equipment and I don't know what I will do without an imprint now.

I purchased this to setup the soundstage in my 2009 Peterbilt daycab tractor that has been 100% Dynamat Extreme'd/Dynalined and am running- Alpine 9887 deck with sirius,HD,BT modules... JL C2-400X fronts, JL C5-650 components rear, single JL 8-W7 sub, JL HD-600/4 amp (front channels run the C5 rears and bridged the rear channels to drive the sub, C2's up front are powered using an Alpine KTP-445 head unit power pack).. Using the KTX-100EQ was easy, I purchased an adjustable camera tripod and put the microphone in various locations throughout the cab and the end result is AWESOME!!! The sound quality is hard to beat... It does exactly what it says it will do... Sets up the soundstage with precision and resolves any frequency clash/issues etc... Highly reccomend this unit to take advantage of the Imprint technology...
