great unit but not fully waterproof.
Installed this on the back of my Wakeboat and worked great until it got splashed with water. It is supposed to be waterproof! It started malfunctioning and I saw water droplets in the screen so I disconnected it and bought another one thinking it was a bad one and the new one did the same thing! It barely got wet and its supposed to be Military grade water proof. What a waist of $400 worth of remotes! Alpine needs to improve the Waterproofing capabilities of these units. My old Clarion wired remote lasted for years and never filled with water! The MC10 malfunctioned as soon as the boat hit the water and they were mounted in the same location! The MC10 looks great and I would definitely buy it again when they fix the problem. For now I have it disconnected and installed just for looks! (if i took it out i'd have a hole showing)
