Not bad

I have this amp hooked up to 1 mtx 10" 9500 and it hits dam hard! People think I have two subs but its just one! This amp gets hot real quick so u should have it elevated at least a half inch off the carpet so it can dissipate heat easier.(unless ur not usin its full power) Great amp for the price!

2 12 alpine type r subs running 2 ohm to this amp is amazing. more bass than i can handle. This amp is a monster for those subs, i cant wait to hear my subs when they break in, its going to be insane

Absolutely Phenomenal

I have had this amp for over a year now. I bought it used for 100 bucks thinking it was just 1000 watts peak. Come to find out its 1000 watts rms. i had it on 2 kenwoods rated at 400 watts. They make my whole car shake. The bass is insane. It never overheads. It only gets just a bit warm. Well worth the money i paid for it. Fantastic fantastic amplifier.

Good quality for good price.

I bought this amp expecting it to support 2 12" Kicker CVR's that max at 1200 and the amp exceeded my expectations. It has never over heated or was too powerful or not powerful enough. This amp is good quality!

Perferct Setup

I have it connected to 2 jl 10w3v3-4 at 2 ohm on a sealed box under the back seat of my titan crew cab and hits really hard, loud and clear, perfect setup. Could not hope for something better, I am completely satisfied with it. ALPINE ROCKS

Nice amp

Good amp nice clean power, doesn't overheat. Bad thing about it is it wouldn't push my 2 15CVRs. So, I had to buy a third CVR so I could get a 2ohm load. Sounds great, but I'm a bass head; I need a bigger amp to push my system. I've been hearing good things about M2000.

Make sure you have a good ground...It's a Beast

Alpine never ceases to amaze me. It powers my two Kicker Solo Classic 12s to their max. Bass is loud and crystal clear. At first I was getting overheating and shutting down after 20-30 min of normal play. I regrounded to the floor, scraping the paint. I havent yet done the big 3 so I ran a 2 awg wire from the battery to the frame. After that, no overheating or lights dimming and pure bass.
Cons...no bass knob, no subsonic filter...already set at 15 hz

alpine mrd-m1000

I have the mrd-m1000 running on one 12 inch type x. The amp sounds great. It lacks just a little in power, but has the great sound quality you expect from alpine. For the price it was a good deal.

MRP-M1000

Not bad but wish I would of waited for the M2000. Ok if you are just starting to get into car audio and don't know which amp to get GET this one but if your looking for more get a better one. The does not even over heat at all just gets warm.

good amp

I had this amp wired to one Alpine SWX-1243D. sounded great. Got bored with it after 6 months and now ordered Kicker 2500 and 2 Rockford fosgate 12's three times the money hope to get three times the sound. Great amp for the price.

Love the amp

got it pushing a 12 inch kicker cvx 750 rms 1500 max in a 2007 volkswagen jetta and i love it. Thinking about running a 15 to it. it handles the kicker with no problem. or maybe i'll put 2 12's on it either way you cant go wrong with this amp.

Hot

this amp heats up quick but what 1000w amp doesn't. i didn't know that it was 1000rms at b*** b** when i bought it but it blew one of two 600w subs that i have just make sure that your subs can handle this beast i was stupid for doin that but i blame myself only. buy this amp

AN EXCELLENT AMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First of all I owned a 2008ZX1000.1d kicker it was good but this amp is much cleaner cheaper and puts out almost the same power. Alpine amps are great don't let the price tag fool you i have this powering one 15'' kicker 2008 L5 without breaking a sweat. It never gets warm. I use to have it powering a MTX 12'' TS85 (Like a kicker 12'' L7 except it's MTX) and it worked great.

Only way to go!

I own one of these 1000 watt beasts and a PDX-1.1000! Side by side, on the same type sub (Alpine Type-X ) the v-power just has more juice! Unless your looking for new technology or space saving, this amp is the only way to go! My PDX-1.1000 came with a certification ticket of 1197 RMS @ 4 ohms which is the same @ 2, so I am very curious as to what my V-power is actually pushing!

Its drawing 20 more amps than the PDX! Not trying to knock the PDX, but if you want more power, go with the V-power, you wont be disappointing!

Alpine MRP-1000

real nice amp. i like it alot. but be careful. if you are mounting it on a sloped surface and the feet are not flat against it they can snap off easily if torqued at a weird direction but otherwise i love it

Get this!

Believe it or not I had this thing hooked up to one of Pioneers 3500watt 4 ohm sub and had the gain turned up about the quarter of the way I had a song going that had constant hard hitting base and 2 min later that box was blowing smoke out the ports due to a blown sub, they have this thing rated at 1000 rms at 2 ohms thats bull s*** this thing is pushing way more than what it says if it can blow a sub that can handel 3500 watts peak, so now im getting two of those beasts in two separate boxes (Sonic box with the two 4" ports) and we will see what happens. Just make sure if you get this amp you better have some subwoofers that can handel it

sick

this amp is godly. it can handle anything you throw at it. i have a 1000 watt pyle hooked up to this thing and it bumps. i have been friends with a store where i live for a long time and they have been selling these for a year and give a 1 year warranty out on these bad boys and NONE of them have came back. if you want a tough amp this is the best bet for your money.

wtf? i cant believe it one ohm stable.

as im reading the product description i realized it pushes 1000 watts rms at 2 ohms. i have two dual 4 ohm subs running at 1 ohm (i thought it was one ohm stable). and the amp is still pushing no problem. i wonder if it really is one ohm stable. its been like that for about a month. i need to change it before i start a fire.

Very nice!

Recently I was adjusting my two Alpine amps, and discovered this amp is more powerful than my PDX-1.1000! I was amazed how much more juice it delivered! The amazing thing was my PDX birthsheet said 1197 RMS @4 ohms , which is the same at 2.

I am very curious as to what this monster is actually putting out! May not be as advanced as the PDX series, but if you want more power, go with this one! ITS HALF THE MSRP! Unless you need the space.... then go with the PDX! you wont regret it either way!
