Alpine RUE-4190

Received my brand new Replacement Alpine RUE-4190 6 moths ago and I really love it. Sonic Electronix is a great internet site to purchase everything your car needs. Keep up the good job.

It was functional and compatible with my Alpine TVs. It met all my expectations.

money well spent

I love this remote it works so well with my IVA-W200 head unit (double Din in dash TV). PROS: does everything i need it to do even has screen tilt button for tv and button illumination on the remote. Works straight right out of the box no setup required besides putting the batteries in which are included. CONS: i wish i could use the center D pad for navigating through menus on the TV besides the DVD menu. Not knowing if i accessed the sub-features on the remote. When i press the Audio setting button i can access the menu from the remote but can't navigate through the menu with the remote. I Wish a user manual came with the remote, instead of downloading from Alpine's website and even then the manual doesn't define everything as far as accessing the sub-features, but oh well majority of the stuff is still self explanatory. Overall the RUE-4190 is a great remote.

Better for montior and DVD units

Nice looking remote.. It's supposed to be the recommended remote for my Alpine IDA-X001 but only the volume, skip and source buttons are handy with this remote .. I still have to use my head unit to navigate my song/playlist on my ipod .. sure wish Alpine made that more clear somewhere.. Probably better for the nav and monitor headunits
