Can't Live w/o it

The Alpine RUX-Knob is a must have for any one who owns an alpine amp. Having a seperate gain adjustment apart from the HU itself is a must if you like base and need to control it to perfection.

Works as advertised. Connects right up to my Alpine Pdx M12. Leave your screwdriver at home. Turns Woofer level up and down perfectly.

Not as good as other brands

Bass knobs with amps are a great idea and come in handy. While the Alpine knob works with my MRX-V70, the volume control is not linear. Max volume happens around 75% of the way around, and it does not go to 0% on the low end. My JL Audio version of the same thing works correctly with my HD900. Still worth it, I just wish it was accurate.

IMO this is a must have in any sound system. Being able to adjust the bass easily with the knob when going from song to song is priceless.

A Must-Have Accessory

Works great with my PDX-M6. The knob allows you to tweak your s/w to suit the music you are listening to. As one reviewer noted, it does not act in a linear fashion. However, remember that the knob is an attenuator, all it can to is reduce the volume/gain. When turned all the way CCW that should be the gain your amp is set at without the Rux-Knob.

great bass knob used it with my pdx m6 the only complaint is there is no mark to know where it is at currently but nothing a white pen couldn't fix

Alpine addittion

TBH 100% completely honest i am not sure why i bought this product for my amp anymore, the Alpine TuneIt application seemed to take care of the bass issue i was having, but this lil knob to be able to turn down the sub at a moments notice is kinda a lil handy!

Remote bass control knob

It works great . With the speakers,, subs, and amps I have received and installed and the remote bass knob I have an audio system that is out of this world. I get compliments every time someone sits ij the car and listens. Thank you for quality products. Thank you sonic electronics

Easy install

Easy installation and works as expected. Disassembles for flush mount behind dash so all you see is the dial, makes for a very clean install. Just plug it in, and it works. Definitely had the dead spot as mentioned in other reviews, but was expecting that. Rux-knob.2 has a higher db adjustment as compared to the original model (20 db vs 12db).

I would recommend this bass remote for your alpine amp because of the control you have on a fly you less bass dial it back you want more well you know what do lol. Anyway good product and work as expected without the annoying bright light

Convenient

The convenience of being able to control the gain from your finger tips is a definite plus....especially when you're "bumping" & "Johnny Law" rides up beside you. :-)

Could only find a couple of places and sonic electronix and it was about 5 dollars cheaper! Great product works great!

It's great!!! No menu to scroll through just turn until it sounds the way you want. Switch to talk radio with a twist of the knob,,, great

Good price on the bass knob

It sucks that Alpine makes you buy a bass knob instead of supplying it. Sonic’s price for it is about the best on the net unless you want to chance some shady looking places. I’ve installed well over a hundred of these over the years and the knob is quality. It’s also easy to take out of its case if you want to do a more stealth install of the knob.

Installed my previous subs into my 4runner. After hooking everything up, I noticed I could not control the bass output with my factory headunit. Ordered this remote and now I am able to control the amount of bass at any volume!
