Alpine Type R

I put a pair of these speakers in my work van and the difference is incredible. I have gone from the stock 4 speaker setup to just 1 pair of the alpine's and it is now louder cleaner and more bass. Now i want another pair to see how loud and how much bass i can get.

Alpine SPR-57C

I purchased 4 of these speakers, I installed them in my 1998 Lincoln Mark VIII. These Alpines have excellent clear sound and bass response. I have them running off of a Sundown 100.4 amp and they can handle the power easily without distortion. I listen to a lot of different music from A/C D/C, Tool, Mushroomhead, Slipknot ETC. The pricing was also very good and I received them in a short time from ordering. I would recommend them to a friend.

i just bought 4 of these speakers and put them in a 2002 ford focus and man do they thump great clear crisp sound too! Remember to hook an amp up to these! Everything about these speakers are amazing! I've done research for awhile now and listened and worked with a lot of different speakers and these are by far the best I've listened to and worked with. If your debating on speakers and cannot decide, choose these! For the price of Sonic Electronix you cannot go wrong.

The last 6x8 you will ever buy!

I have gone through many sets of 6x8 speakers, all of them major name brands. The Alpine SPR-57C is the Best Sounding & Performing Speaker I have ever had and the Construction and Quality is Awesome.

Speakers!

Just mm from the power windows when windows are down. Now no room at all for windows with Speaker baffles. So don't get the baffles if you want to use your windows. 98' Ford F150.

Alpine SPR-57C or SPS507

I went in my local electronic store & was looking for some Alpine 5x7 Speaker's. SPS507 looked like the one, But seen the Type R that had a 100 watt RMS rating and just needed to have it. So I talked them down to C$100+Tax So I got two pairs of them. On the sound board there wasn't to much of a difference in sound, Type R's had better highs then the Type S, But it wasn't fare that they were just running straight from the Deck. There Good speakers even if you don't have a Amplifier, But you need one if you want it to be louder of course. Mine will only be as loud as 18 watts RMS, I'm getting Speaker distortion around vol #25 with HPF 80Hz, Defeat on (CDA105) I can still hear them speakers over my 1,000w Sub Amp though.

Alpine The best

I bought two pairs of these speakers because I wanted to use the same size as the factory speakers in the doors of my jeep. I'm pushing them with a Power Acoustik bmf 1,600 watt four channel amp, you can here the clarity of the music at a loud volume not much speakers can do that. so all i have to say is buy them you will not be disappointed. WORD.

these speakers handled the 100wrms from my pdx4.100 amp,they didn't distort and sounded awesome through all ranges. i would highly recommend these speakers and also the type r 6.5" splits, my whole system was alpine, headunit, subs, amps and speakers, i had 100wrms through all 4 speakers and 500wrms per sub (2) it was enough to give ear piercing pitches and heart jolting bass, my roof flexed close to an inch with this setup in my suv.

These speakers are amazing. All around good sounding and well constructed. I've purchased many speakers, and these have out done various polks and jl's that i've collected over the years. No distortion at ALL on loud volumes and I even have these amplified. Alpine all the way!!

Amazing sound

I bought 2 of these to put in the door of my 2008 Ford Ranger. I have them hooked up to an amp that pushes a little less than the RMS rating...they sound incredible, great bass and definitely worth the money...Alpine nailed it with these :-)

Best 5x7 on the market

The title says it all. Best on the market pound for pound. Price is awesome. Great highs, great mids. You should most definitely amp them though makes a world of difference. I have mine running to a Rockford 450.4. The pivoting tweeter is sweet. Installation is a breeze also. Recommend mostly for rear fill. Get the 6.5 components in this model for the fronts.

I love the way they sound so crisp and clear and also kinda bassy which us not what i bought them for they are def some nice 6x8's

good for what i know

i just got these speakers replacing the factory set in a '97 ford contour. the old speakers where a joke and i only have one pair of these in now and the difference is unbelieveable. i am lookin forward to gettin the other pair soon

great mid-range speakers

sincerely alpine produces world´s best in car audio, this speakers works like an mb quart pair in the range of 80hz with less amp power, just need one small bass and you will get high sound end.

Bought four of these for my 04 Tacoma after my stock radio died and I upgraded. They sound excellent, crisp, and clear. I definitely recommend them.

I have two pairs of these replacing my factory ones, and wow you can tell a difference. I have a EDE-102 receiver and i can turn it up all the way without ANY problems with the speakers. The RMS is amazing and i highly doubt you can blow these EVER. You cannot beat Alpine!!

Good for mids

I've got these installed in the front two doors of the van and they sound great. Crisp highs and good mids.

At this price, you can't go wrong.
