Good highs

Good 6.5inches if you are not looking for powerful speakers. They sound a bit flat but they manage to make okay mids and a lot of highs. Don't expect to get more than what you pay for but they are still better than alot of "noname" speakers in the same range of prices.

SOUNDS GOOD TO ME

I have just purchased a pair of these speakers to replace my stock speakers and they sound great, seeing that my factory radio is still installed. I am working on getting a new head unit and a pair for the rear of my truck. They are good deal. I recommend buying these fir the price.

Not Bad

Well I baught these to upgrade when I baught a new Head Unit and Type R sub.

I have to say they are great for the price. I acutally got 2 pair (4 speakers) for $70. With that said do not expect amazing sound, but it is very good. It is nice, clear, and crisp sound. It has pretty good lows as well. However, I dunno if it is just my model car (GSR) but they did not fit well at all in my car. I finally got them in but I could not line up any of the holes to screw them in. Not sure if its the car or the speakers though. But for the price it is a great deal and will def. hear a difference over stock speakers. Would recommend them if you are looking for a set of speakers at a low price.

Nice. but not the best

These speakers have really good high end response. they look NICE and sound pretty good, but too low of an rms wattage for me. I would go with the audiobahn 6 1/2's since they have 100 watt rms and sound a little better. but these own in the looks category. plain and simple. they sound good too.

Great 2 way speakers!!!!

These speakers by Alpine provide awesome sound even to the stock radio in any vehicle. Their built in tweeters with high frequncy capacitors allows high notes to come through clear and loud without any distortion. Not to mention the awesome midbass response!!! These can be subsituted for stock speakers in any vehicle and they will make your music sound like a high end system that costs hundreds of dollars. Along with sounding great these speakers also look great! Their aluminum finish style dust cover and blue type S logo are a treat to the eyes as well as the ears!! If you want great sound at a great price then get these speakers!!!

Very good for the price

Great speaker for a budget system. Definitely won't win any competitions with these, but for day-to-day use, they work very well. I was very pleased with them.

Impressive step up from stock

I purchased these speakers as an upgrade for the stock front speakers in my Scion tC. I had just upgraded the head unit to a Pioneer P6800, and the stock speakers were buzzing and becoming sloppy when I turned the volume up. These speakers are handsome and Alpine includes a pair of mounting brackets; while they didn't work for the tC's goofy speaker setup, it was a nice touch. The new speakers sound much more impressive than the stockers; they are clear throughout the volume range, and produce very sharp sound and a rich feeling. I'm not huge on bass, but these speakers are more than enough for me with the head unit's EQ on +1 bass out of a possible +5. I highly recommend these!

Okay for the money

I have a pair of these installed in my 350z behind my seats. The do an okay job, but are a little flat, compared to the Polk Audio 650s that I have mounted in the front. Not bad, but not very exciting either...
