I installed the Alpine SPS-406 model speakers in my girlfriends truck and they sound great. The sound quality is awesome, there is a hint of bass, but a good overall sound. The speakers look nice and clean, and don't look just thrown into the spaces. I am pleased with this purchase and recommend them

Excellent Deal!

Received the speakers quickly and installed them in a classic Ford Mach 1. Speakers sound pretty good, could use more base but I think that is because they're only being powered off a sony deck. Overall, very happy with my purchase.

Great Speakers!!!

These speakers are amazing!! Glad i got them. The clairty is unbelievable (with or w/o amp)! I bought them two days ago and just got them today i was suprised, very happy. I love sonic so much!!

These speakers perform really well considering their price plus they fit in the doors of my cavalier perfectly with the plastic baffles provided. They rattle my doors with only my deck for power. First time I bought Alpine and I must say that I am impressed. You can't go wrong with these.

Low price and easy installation

I bought these for my 2000 Olds Alero and they were easy to install and sound great!

not a good speaker at all

Bought the alpine sps-406 from Sonic. Shipping was very fast. I installed them the very next day. The speakers sounded okay but after 10 hrs of playing trying to break them in, i raised up the volume and they sounded horrible. My stock speakers sounded way better than these alpines. I don't understand the big hype on these speakers. I don't get why so many good reviews. I should have saved my money. Good thing i didn't buy them for 69.99 or i would have been mad. The only good thing about the speakers is the look and the design.

Sound OK, can't handle much power and distort rather easily, but sound great at lower power/volumes. Small speaker so what do you expect.

Amazing Sound Quality

I installed these in the dash of my 02 blazer and even with 2 JLw6 12s in the back I can still hear my music with great clarity and they aren't even amplified. I would definitely suggest them to a friend!

These speakers are great for the price, I've had them for a few months now, I've had absolutely no problems with them, which Alpine is a great brand anyways, but if your looking for good sound for a decent price. I really recommend these.

Gives put good bass for how small they are, they r nice and clear, and pretty loud for how small they are..

Alpine Type-S speakers

The speakers themselves have a good sound quality, but they cant produce any bass whatsoever in my cavalier and aren't good with high volume. My 4x 10" Alpine Type-S in my trunk more than make up for it though. I should've gotten the Type-R's instead.

I bought 2 pairs for my truck and they sound great i have them amped and they are great will refer them to friends.

great set of speakers. i bought these and they came rather quick. i installed these in my cavalier and they sound great. nothing to complain about.

Alpine Sps 406

These speakers are very awsome speakers of you want LOUD these are right up your alley! They only think I didn't like is they don't like alot of bass but if you have subs and you want that loud theatre sound here ya go!!

Excellent

Have owned these speakers for about 3 months now, and they are superb. Im glad I went with these. The clarity is unreal, and I only have them off of deck power. Cant wait to amp them up. They fit perfect in my 2003 Cavalier. Now I can listen to every kind of music and it sounds amazing. Sonic Electronix is the best too. Defiantly am and always will be a returning costumer.

Great speaker

Alpine always makes great products. I had these powered by 50wrms and they sounded great. Fit perfectly in the dash of my 1st gen S10.

Speakers put out good sound for what they are. I first had them just running off deck power and they sounded good. I then put a amp to them and it really helped them out. This is just another fine product product from Alpine. Totally worth the money.

They Make Popping noises

Second day I had these speakers they started making popping noises. Both of them are in my front doors powered the head unit. Besides the popping noise they aren't very loud. I listen to a lot of dub and these speakers just don't handle it very well. My only advise would be spend a little more money and buy nicer Alpines.

Good Speakers

I have a pair of these in my car and I am very happy with them. They actually put out a good amount of bass. They are a very good deal for the price and I would recommend them to anybody looking for good quality speakers. Alpine makes great car audio products.

powerfull

I was surprised about how much sound you can get from a pair of 4x6 speakers. These speakers got very crisp/clean sound, they even put some nice bass out too.
Though, from the outside of my truck, you can't really hear them from a distance, that's why i'm going to buy myself a Type R component set, to be even louder than i am right now.

Well worth the money, great stock replacement with good soundquality. And a nice price at SonicElectronix of course:-D
