good value.

Bought 2 pairs of these 6 months ago, have them running on a Alpine MRP-F300. They get plenty loud to keep up with the 2 Type R's I have running on a Hifonics 1700.1.

Pros: Cheap, get plenty loud, the highs are great. even on h/u power they still get loud

Cons: When I bought the 2 pairs it was winter, I made the mistake of running my stereo at full tilt(have amp set with dmm so there was no clipping) while it was cold out. Well needless to say I blew one of the speakers, I never bothered to call Sonic for a exchange cause I blame myself for playing them at full tilt when its below zero
also the mid's are not as crisp as I would want them to be, but a equalizer fixed that.

AWESOME SOUND

These speakers give the best highs and lows that I've ever heard in a 6.5 speaker...And the best buy at this price

Alpine SPS-600

I would definitely recommend these speakers. I have them in the rear of my Toyota Sequoia. They handle mids/highs well. Not as good as the SPR-17Cs that I have in front for bass, but still a pretty good buy

Amazing product, amazing customer service!

I called the company and told the gentleman that answered my issues, Speakers were for a '97 Suburban, Sony Xplod head unit, plan on adding an amp later....I called about the Punch 3's and the guy sold me on these. I am glad too! My fiancee loves them and was please to show his birthday present to everyone. Best sound, clearest vocals, smooth on the bass....I plan on buying these for my car too! The price was amazing as well too! I send business here all the time and will continue to do so.

Surprising quality speakers for the $$

Installed these in the rear of my Nissan Frontier KingCab, with Alpine 6x9 SPR-69Cs in the front. These compliment those more expensive speakers very, very well. Highs and mids are sharp and clear, and will even thump a bit with only 20-watt RMS power. Alpines simply provide the best sound reproduction in their price range -- not as "tinny" as the Infinities (while less expensive if purchased here), and simply blow away the rest...

Good for the money

Pros: Decent power handling and noticeable upgrade from factory speakers without costing a ton of money.

Cons: Doesnt handle bass very well at all. Have a sub so wasnt a big issue but before the sub my factory speakers had more bass than these do.

I would buy them again since I have a sub now. If I didn't I would be looking for another option.

Alpine makes really good stuff and things...

The pair of Alpine SPS-600 6.5" speakers are perfect with the Alpine CDA-9886 stereo in my car. Wired straight-up, with no amplifiers, they can handle everything the CDA-9886 has to offer and that might be more than my ears can take.

Alpine Speakers are always Money

I recommend these speakers hands down.
For the price you just can't go wrong.
I was going to buy a sub for my 2 Alpine SPS-600 and 2 Alpine SPS-600c speakers. Those four put out substantial bass as is
They were easy to install and I'm more then happy with the sound quality.

I put a set of these speakers in my Jeep Wrangler Sound Bar and I am truly happy with the sound. They are powered by a Kenwood HU.

Excellent

I have been very pleased with the performance of these speakers. The high and midrange response is great, enough to hurt you. The low end is good for a speaker of this size, I would add a sub to make it sound perfect if you like bass. I run these off of a $100 W******* head unit with a claimed 60 watts per channel (if you believe that) and they still perform great. I had them hooked to my stock system before, and they would easily handle full volume. Excellent speaker at any price, Sonic had the best deal. Oh, the grills that come with them are a waste of time if you use them for truck door speakers. No protection.

Alpine SPS-600

If you want something that plays well I highly recommend the Alpine SPS-600. They are amazing speakers. They play well on MP3s, CD's, FM Radio and on USB. The only con is that they are not as great while playing AM radio stations. Overall if you want speakers and don't feel like paying a whole lot for the Alpine Type R's I will definitely reccomend these. Alpine is the only speakers I will ever allow in my car!!!

Great Value!!

For the money this speaker can't be beat it sounds great playing off my Alpine CDA-105 radio, and it really shines when I hooked them up to a 4-channel it played the music so much better with so much detail, if I bought these speakers here I would have gotten two pair of speakers instead of one pair.

OK!

I bought these speakers to replace the factory infinity speakers in my Dodge Durango. At this point I wish that I would have left them alone and not have spent the money for new ones. The Alpine speakers sound is crisp but it lacks bass. The other thing that I noticed is that I have to turn the volume on the radio up higher to get to the same sound level that I achieved with the Infinity speakers. If you want crisp sound without a lot of bass, then this is the speaker for you.

Alpine SPS-600

Pros: crisp audio, good quality
Cons: 6 months and nothing yet

I would suggest this product to others as I loved them from day one. These speakers provide a good clean and crisp sound even at it's highest.

Rear Speakers for a 2001 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab

I purchased these speakers as replacements for my 2001 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab rear speakers and they were a perfect fit. I took the truck to a large electronics retailer and they installed them in less than 45 minutes and they sound great even with the stock radio.

Great sound - strong highs

These speakers have great clarity and a vivid high end. they sound like they are voiced for a system including a subwoofer. They have very clean sounding lows but do not hit hard (but the high-pass filter means they can handle LOTS of power).

bottom line: EXCELLENT buy if you have a good subwoofer. If not, they have a very clean sound and I suppose it depends on how much "thump" you're looking for. Any speaker with more low end is going to crash and burn at high volume, unlike this robust pair.

Good speakers for the price!

I have these speakers running off of my Alpine CDA-9851 headunit, and they sound great. They will get loud, and stay clear until you crank up the volume excessively loud (past 30-32) Volume 18 is enough to make the mirrors move out of position, and shake everything, so 30-32 is REALLY loud. They look really nice, and I have had no problems with them blowing or anything. Great buy, especially for the price!

Alpine SPS-600 Speakers Rock

I put these spaekers in my Honda CRV. The factory ones were blown out. The speakers hit the highs and the mids good. I was a little disappointed with the lows. They sound a little muddy. These speakers are still a good deal. If you want a lot of bass with these speakers, look into getting a sub. Otherwise, the speakers sound great.

Not bad.

These are probably the best low-cost option to get good power handling.. 80 watts RMS can handle most amps. But these sound kind of like the Infinity Reference speakers -- lacking in mids and midbass, kid of tiny. If you have the cash, go with Alpine's Type-R speakers.

well worth the money..

I have these as my rear deck speakers for fill and well.. they fill!! they sound great.. they aren't top of the line components or anything but much better than my crappy stock ones i had..

Goood Speakers...

These speakers are really nice especially for the price. I have them powered off of an older deck that doesnt give you quite the sound quality options that you can get out of these speakers... With that to me... i dont get quite the highs that im looking for... but like i said.. add an amp and a newer deck with fine tuning audio controls... they could really release their potential. Great Speakers overall. If your considering... go ahead and click that Add to cart button.

THESE ARE OK BUT NOT GREAT

THESE ARE OK BUT NOT GREAT. THEY GET LOUD BUT A LITTLE BIT FLAT. YOU WILL NEED A 4CHENNEL CAUSE YOUR HEAD UNIT WONT BE ABLE TO GIVE U THE SOUND THAT YOU WANT.BUT OVERALL THERE GOOD SPEAKERS IF U WANT TO UP GRADE YOUR FACTORY SPEAKERS.I GIVE THEM A 7 OUT OF 10

Alpine SPS-600

These are great speakers for someone who seeks fantastic sound and at a very reasonable price! These speakers aren't going to blow away the guy at the stoplight, but they are some of the highest quality speakers, with great lows, mids, and highs and are very affordable too. I must admit, they hold more bass than I thought they were capable of at first! They also produce clear highs, and the horns sound great too. You'll get your best results from a head unit that produces 50+ watts, (or with use the low level input from an amp). You can't go wrong with your money on these. I've had them several months, and it's been the best money spent! I bought two sets for my Nissan, and I'm glad I did. Sonic Electronix was a great seller with a great price, and they shipped them very fast.

Thanks Sonic!!

Very good on high end but no bass, even with lots of power behind them. They are matched up with a pair of 6X9 coax but still even in that set up there was very little bass. Had to add a sub
