bang for the buck.

I purchased this sub a 1 year ago, and have over powered it since the day i bought it. This sub has pass my expectations and for a 10" at 250rms, i was pleased with the performance. I would recomend this product as a entry product, for starters.

Really good subs

These are really good subs for the money. They handle all bass frequencies very good. If you don't have the room for 12" or 15" subs these are the one for you.

Great Starter Subs

Before these models, I had two of the previous models, which were my first subs ever. Loved them, and after several other subs, i bought three of these and wired them to 1.4 ohms. Great sound, not just quality but also in spl. They were in a ported box, that i also got from this site. Overall, very very good looking subs, and were friendly with most types of music. Awesome subs, and would definitely buy again, especially from Sonicelectronix, Great service, prices and customer service.

Boom!

These are a fantastic 10 inch sub. Powered with 300w kennwood, there is no disappointment. A fantastic deal and great bass with an easy fit.

Just a solid sub, love it

I have a pair of these and they do what they are built to do - thump. Driven by an Alpine amp, I am really happy with these.
Only thing I do not care for is the rubber piece that goes around the sub once mounted.

good review

it doesn't take a lot of power to get great sound from this sub, and it produces great bass in a relatively small enclosure. the price isn't bad for what you get either.

Good subs

Have 2 of them in a 1.1 cubic foot shared box , a bit smaller than I wanted but all I could fit behind the rear seats of my truck. Great tight bass and would recommend you put them in a bigger box if your looking for that extra thump.

Buy em!

Installed 3 of these subs in a single chamber sealed box. Over six months and they still perform with deep, tight, well controlled bass. Very good sub and a great price!

Great ub for value

i purchased this sub to replace my JL Audio 10W3, this was a cheap purchase and so far very pleased with sound to value ratio. Im only pushing 200w to it and it sounds great

Amazing bass

I put 2 10s of this baby's in my 12 dodge ram under the backseat with a 500 rms jl audio mono amp and they sound amazing. Alpine subs are one of the best subs in the market. I love the way this subs handle the bass, they are very accurate and all you can hear is clean bass + the look/design is very cool.

Good while it lasted...

I would not recommend this product at all. I did not buy it from Sonic but I am on here all the time so I figured I would share my experience. First off, the sub does sound really good! But the HAMR system that Alpine has implemented into their Type E series was a bad idea. The sub lasted maybe 2 months going at 200-300 watts. The HAMR system completely unglued itself from the inner part of the sub. For people who don't know what the HAMR system is, it is the rubber that is all wrinkly to put it in non-tech savvy terms. How is that even possible at that little of watts. Poor quality and poor workmanship. Maybe that is just the one I got, but I am not pleased at all.

Alpine SWE-10S4

Excellent bass response. Clean and crisp. I would recommend this for any crew cab truck owner whom, doesn't want his teeth to fall out from two 15 inches. I like the two 10's. They offer the balance along with a clean sound.

These are great speakers, they are very responsive to any kind of music you want to listen to. Overall a great buy. I am going to put a set in my car also.

Alpine SWE-10S4

I bought 2 of these sub woofers and installed them in a custom made box per the recommended space size. I have them running off a Rockford Fosgate 5 channel P1000X5D, delivering 500W mono into the subs. They work just as they should. You get what you pay for and they perform just as you would expect. For the price i would definitely recommend them to anybody on a budget as I was.

Great speaker at a great price.

Put this in a sealed box and you wont be disappointed. Run 250-300 rms to it and it is a great addition to any stereo. Good bass range/response and good amount of bass. The new design is awesome with ribbed surround.

great!!

I have the previous model and am looking to get the newer model. I blast this sub with a kenwood 1000 watt max amp in my room, I have yet to try it in a vehicle. I have it in a 12 x 18 x 14 inch box with a 23.5 inch port that is 1 and a quarter inches by 11 inches. It hits hard and is fills my room with tight and loud bass. Hits hard enough to rattle every wall in my house. No distortion.
