Great sub for the price

You simply can't beat this sub for the price. I'm powering it with a little Rockford Fosgate 150-2 amp and it hits hard. I run it at half the power I was with my other setup (12" Apline Type-S and some cheap Power Acoustik amp) and it hits harder than the old setup ever did. Pair this sub up with a nice quality amp and it will produce some awesome bass that hits hard and still sounds clear for a fraction of the cost of the higher end stuff.

PUMP UP THE BASS!!!

YEAH BOY! Two of these in a custom ported box and damage was done.... Cracked my windshield from the reflex, my mirror broke (wouldn't stay in one position always tilting down) and it fell off. My meter reads at about 550 watts max per sub at close to full volume on the speakers. I get looks from everyone when I turn these BAD BOYS UP! Alpine is the way to go. Get some today. Make it 2 or 3 or 4...... either way these subs KICK OUT THE JAMS!

Alpine Type E

For the price of the sub, its a good buy. I would recommend to buy two of them, it sounds so much better. but the con of buying them is that they seem fragile so don't push it with them.

bumptastic

My friend has two of these hooked up to a crunch amp. They hit pretty hard, and the clarity is amazing. a guy i know has 4 type r alpines, and they make his back windshield flex. alpine is the way to go, no doubt.

Very Clean

This sub is great. Definitely worth the price. It kicks out nothing but clean solid bass. Mine is in a 2 cubic ft custom ported box I built myself and it sounds so good. It is cleaner than JL. I really like how it comes with the grill too, it adds a smooth look to it. The best part about this sub is the cone composition. Very strong and very cool look. One of the best looking subs around in my opinion. Buy it and you won't be disappointed.

Wow! This is better than I expected!

I have one of these with a 300 watt alpine amp and this thing bumps. I don't have it turned up all the way and my mirror shakes, rattles my trunk and people hear me coming. It's great with all types of music and alpine is the best you can get!

Great sound

I started out with just one of these, but i blew it up in a week on accident. now i have two in a ported box, 3.2 ft^3 tuned to 33hz (or maybe it's 32 hz :P) running at 2 ohms. with the volume at 20/35, i can't use my mirrors and my head starts to hurt. absolutely amazing quality for bargain prices. alpine all the way.

straight product for price

I got 4 of these in my trunk with hfi1000d mono block amp and they were not as hard as I like but they do wonders. It's all how u like ur system to sound.

Fresh Sound

I have almost an entire Alpine Set now, iDX-200 Headunit, Type-R Door 2-ways, m-500 sub amp. these make the bass unique and fresh in the box with a few more days on the break-in already getting looks from my neighbors

packs a punch

For the price this thing is awesome. I have one in a ported box in my crown vic and it sounds great. Don't expect extreme bass from one of these but it will still hit hard. The speaker grill it comes with is cool too.

very good for the price!

i got 2 of these in the trunk of my prelude they r very decent for the price they hit hard and sound very clean. ive have kicker l7s and my friend has 15inch mmats 2.5 p serious now his sub comes nowhere near those in spl or sq so don't expect to buy two of these an amp and head unit and beat down the block. but they are probably the best subs FOR THE PRICE. Only downside is one of mine blew but that was my fault.

Great Product!

Ok, so my buddy was cleaning out his garage and he had 2 of these laying around. He sold them to me for 30 dollars! So i custom built a double ported box, and put them in my Blazer. And wow. These things SLAM. Defiantly a good buy.

12" apline

I currently have one of these in my single cab f250 with a 300 watt amp and this thing thumps. We hooked a 600 watt amp up to it and it hurt. i might put another one in and a 1000 watt amp.

Anything but cheap!!!

I bought these subs for a Honda Prelude but never got around to installing it because I replaced it with the Type X 12, BUT I sold them to a good friend of mine to puy in his car and lemme say... WOW I actually didnt expect them to perform the way the did because of the price, but man was I wrong! He since then has put them in a truck and they are still going strong and sounding phenomenal...after 5 YEARS!!!

This is a great buy and bang for your buck if you dont wana invest a lot as extra batts or HO alts etc., and just looking for a nice, clean sounding system, look no further, Alpine delivers!!

Best Budget Sub ... ever

I got a bassworks 2.2 cubes box .... this one twelve is not only the cleanest bass I have heard ... even over the JL's and Rockfords ... it is also its just as hard in this box .... as my friends to Lanzar Vibe 12"s that are 500w EACH

Match this sub up with a Rockford Fosgate P-500 or Alpine MRP-500 and you'll love it

Alpine Type-E

I recommend these to someone who is looking for good yet cheap bass. They weren't too expensive with great sound production. Yet the problem that I kept having was the tinsel leads would separate and I had to warranty them 4 times. If you purchase them I recommend getting the warranty with them too.

great buy

per sonly i don't have this model but i did have the old e sub so i can say the old e's in my jeep Cherokee all the way in the back would make more bass than most people want, no it's not the subs you here at the stop light but they are the ones that are going to give you a head ache with the bass turned up, i had 2 with a power acoustic 2200 watt amp and it rattled off my center console in about 1 mile after installing.
more magnet on the new ones = more bass
