I installed a pair of these in the front doors of my 2008 Toyota RAV4. One of my OEM speakers wasn't working, so I was looking for an affordable component system replacement. They fit well and were easy to install while using vehicle specific mounting brackets and speaker wire harnesses, which I purchased separately. They sound good and are serving their purpose well.

Just ok
I bought two pair of these to upgrade my Jetta factories. Sound wise they are not bad if you have a small amp or just head unit power. After about a month my driver door started getting scratchy. It weird because it’s intermittent too. Either way I am going to just get a couple of SKAR MIDS AND BE DONE! The thing is Alpine discontinued this line altogether so that should say something. Overall not horrible and every now and again there are times when a speaker can go bad (blow) for no reason and it’s not you. I would say spend a few more bucks if you can and get something better but don’t take my word for it just do what feels right.

Disappointed
Bought these and a amp to upgrade my Boston factory speakers. I have to say with new amp the Boston acoustic 6.5 sound better and hit harder with new amp than these Alpines. But they are the bottom of the barrel of the alpine line!!!!
