Worth every penny!

Alpine quality and sound at an affordable price! Installed in my '11 Ram 1500 in a custom sealed enclosure wired down to 2 ohms feeding it 600 watts and it just pounds!

I have a older version of this same sub I got off a guy 2 years ago n I got it running on 900 watts rms n damn it sounds loud as I'm thinking about another with like a 1500 watt amp n then it would b beast mode imma give it 5 stars all around for durability it has to b a 5 since I've had it for 2 years n it's still goes ham like no other

Clean hard hitting bass. They are shallow but hit hard. Sound awesome with any music. I powered two of them with a big hifonics amp. Would do it again.

Small but good

This 10" sub is just like its bigger brother, the R. sounds good in mu custom fiberglass box. 400 rms at 2ohms is just right.

Good sound, and quality

Rattles my trucks mirrors, sounds very nice, good quality but needs a deep box to put it in. Its not a compression sub.

Excellent price for an excellent sub

This sub is extremely durable and can take some power. I am running one of these in my car in a ported box and it hits hard enough to satisfy my needs, without a doubt a great deal!

79 Corvette with some "boom"

I bought an aftermarket stereo head unit that is a replica of the old pushbutton style am/fm radio and although it is 200 watts. . . it sounded like a crappy 1979 stereo!
Switched out the 2 fronts with new alpines without having to modify anything, put kicker 6X9's in the rear and they mounted in the same location with a minor adjustment in the holes on the front of the speaker. Tuned it in. . . CRAP AGAIN! So, at the risk of ruining the originality of the car I decided to cut out the passenger side storage compartment that holds the jack. With a jigsaw I cut a hole for the 10" AlpineSWD-10D4 and connected it to a kicker 600 watt amp that is much smaller than most. The AMP fits below the Sub in the storage compartment and because the Sub is connected to a hinged door it is really simple to get to the AMP to make adjustments. "BOOM" this little red corvette thumps with the tuners who are packin big dual 12's because the car is so compact. Any C-3 Corvette owners who enjoy music as much as a sporty ride need to invest in this type of setup because the Sub is flush mounted and wont interfere with storage of the T-Tops.

Great sub

Added this to my 2013 mustang (base) paired with the Power Acoustik 2500w 5ch amp and a sealed box and it makes my metal sound great.

Strong Subs

Alpine has always been top of the line in subs and this one is no different. I have it standing alone in my trunk and provides the perfect amount of boom. These subs can pack a punch.

Awesome Sub

This Sub hits clean. I replaced a kicker I owned with this sub and I couldn't be happier. I have it powered by a kenwood 500 rms amp and it drives it good. Sub hits all the lows I need.

LOUD and Powerful

I have this Sub hooked up to the Kenwood KAC-5001PS amp wich has 500 rms as well. I must say this sub rocks!!!!!!!!!!! When ever I have friends in the car they constantly thing I have a big 12" sub. IM very impressed with this and its make by alpine so no need to worry about quality. Great Job alpine and sonic for the customer service.

Solid Deal

My audio installer referred me to this sub, mentioned it was comparable to the Type R's of the past. Have this one 10 in a ported box and it booms. Very responsive as well, construction looks great.

Best bang for the money.

I got one of these in my 2007 Suzuki Sx4 hatchback and it sounds great. This 10" sub is more than enough to thump and shake the hatchback. The sub has a very good build quality like we have come to expect from Alpine. Paired with the right amp and enclosure and you have a perfect setup.

Big Bass for a Small Package

Sold sub all around. Be sure to give it plenty of break in time, but overall clean bass for the size. If you don't have a lot of space, this certainly is a great choice!

Boom!

I have two of these wired down to 1 ohm in a ported SoundOrdnance box pushed by a Pioneer GM-D9601 1200 rms @ 1ohm and omg these things are incredible loud and boomy!
Even with my lights dimming in my toyota 4runner it still sounds incredible I can only imagine how much louder it'll be once I do the big 3 and an additional battery. Price on Sonic is a huge bang for your dollar.

I had limited space for a speaker box in my car I had the Alpine 12 R which did not sound that good due to lack of air space. purchase the 10 inch sws model a lot harder hitting and all around better sound .
