Alpine 15D2 Subwoofers

I have bought 2x of these. First off I want to say that they sound amazing but I have had nothing but problems with them. When I got them, I had them for 2 days total before I blew the first coil on both the subs. Idk how it happened but the first coil was reading 0 on multimeter and the second was reading positive for power. So I got them replaced with 2x new ones that lasted me 1 week before the same thing happened. I blew the first coil and not the second one. I have them replaced now and both of them just turned off and they are not reading any power to either of them. I would recommend these if they worked a lot better. They still have a very deep sounding bass and it drops extremely hard.

Excellent value

With the surface area of a 15inch and 65mm of peak to peak excursion this sub offers more displacement per dollar than any other big brand subs.

Sound quality is exceptional. 1.5cubic foot sealed works well with loud punchy bass for sound quality orientated systems. For big bass fans it also works brilliantly in a larger 3 cubic foot ported box. Sound quality is still decent.

Awesome Buy

Bought this subwoofer over a month ago. I constructed a custom box with the recommended dimensions and it certainly shakes my mirrors. The type s hits highs, lows, and everything in between and I would recommend to anyone. Great buy.

I would recommend this sub to anyone it shocked me! It broke the brand new ported box I bought! You want good for little money this is it

Great subs, great price

I bought a pair of these type s 15's and I am more than satisfied. The best bang for ur buck without a doubt. Alpine quality, deep deep lows, and built to last. 4.5 cubic foot box tuned to 35 hz and it's just nasty!! Alpine for the win guys.
