Fantastic speakers
I want to start this review by saying that I was building a sound quality set up. The vehicle these went into was a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The fit for the front doors were perfect and even though the tweeters are massive, I still managed to fit them into the A-Pillar on the door with a bit of filing; replacing the factory tweeter.
These speakers have fantastic mid bass and the tweeters are not overly bright. To me they sound like the tweeter does most of the midrange as well but they are very well rounded. I paired this set up with a JL Audio 300/4V3 and bridged the four channels down to 2 for this pair. They get a bit more power than rated but they eat all of the power with ease and stay very crisp and loud at very high volumes. I highly recommend
