Great deck!

I upgraded from a 2016 kenwood wired android auto deck. .. The android auto wouldn't work well On new phones. Sooo I originally bought a pioneer dmh-w2770nex and I hated it. It sounded awful and android auto kept cutting out and disconnecting.

I decided to buy this alpine while it was alot more money it was worth it..It sounds amazing, it stays connected to Android auto...the features it packs is astounding connect it to maestro, it's very customizable eq.. Time correction bass eq etc.... I highly recommend this alpine... I am going to be paring it with maestro very soon. This is installed in a 2014 passat

This is one of the best units I ever had. Good sound, very wireless (CarPlay and Android) Screen is not too bright to make the visibility while driving much better. I would suggest Alpine reduce different sets of harnesses making it a little impossible to store on the back of the dash even know is a single din with double din screen, however, still makes a little difficult to organize them.

Nice feature

This radio is a great step up from the older version of Alpine radio line up. You have a new equalizer set up and plenty more feature that makes this radio awesome.

Incredible Head unit

Loaded to the brim with features and functionality. The sound quality is great, and the eq/crossover is top tier. Supports tons of addon features and cameras and inputs ect. Also seems to be sturdy, my last head unit was a top tier Alpine from 2008 ish.. It still works perfect, I just thought it was about time to get something more modern, if this is anywhere near that quality level this might be my last head unti lol.

The only possible Con I can see is that the sheer mass of wires that you end up with behind the unit is kinda crazy, if you have a tight space to put this in it might be a bit challenging, you'd probably have to really carefully pick the features you need and trim off some of the other cables you don't need, its a massive wire harness mess to deal with for sure.

Great stereo

Stereo is easy to use and sounds AMAZING with my factory speakers. Installation wasn't too bad with all of the accessories I got from Sonic Electronix. Only downside was some difficulty getting it physically mounted in the dash.

Great Head unit

Really like the way it looks, it’s really crisp!!! Would recommend this head unit, another thing that would be recommended as well would to replace the speakers as well if your car is on the older side !!!
