American bass xd844 8" subwoofer very nice made would buy agine

underrated and affordable quality !

ordered a pair of these for three reasons 1. its american bass top car audio contender! 2,. price absolutly affordable a pair for under 180.00$ thats what i call a steal that is just dumb to pass up!And 3 . 300 rms lol im guessing all day for sure 400 to 450 with no issues and still amazing sound highly recommend ! then again i will highly recommend all American Bass subs ! if u are still the guy who's yet to buy cause there unsure .... Just do your selfs a favor and gettem!!!!!!!!

Awesome Little Subs!

First off, I'm start by saying that I would recommend these to anyone and everyone any day of the week. These are awesome little subs that don't require extreme power to create extreme sound.

I had 1 of these in a .8 ft^3 box and it was pretty good. It got super loud and had a general all around sound. I ran it like that for 3 or so months before switching cars, and I never got tired of seeing that American bass logo.

Currently I have 3 of these in a 3.5 ft^3 ported box tuned 25hz and these can be heard BLOCKS away and create such an incredibly crisp sound at every frequency I throw at them. I can turn them up so loud that the people walking down the street feel the earth shake below them. As an example of how low they hit, my show off song is No Hands by Wocka Flocka.

I am no car audio expert and I did all my installs myself. I'm using 0 gauge wire, stock battery, stock alternator, NO big 3 upgrade, stock head unit with a Walmart line out converter, and my amp is the 1100w Boss Riot amp that's like $45. I have no voltage flexing, no fading lights, no electrical problems at all in my truck even with the volume literally maxed out.

I DO HAVE ONE COMPLAINT HOWEVER. They include nice push terminals, BUT they stick out wider than the mounting diameter in the instructions and if you aren't careful installing them you could possibly damage your terminals.

Bottom line, BUY THESE SUBS. I picked these over the Sundown equivalent because these were $30+ cheaper and I have been blown away by them every day. I can turn them down to round out my system or I can crank them up for everyone in town to hear. I've had them for a good amount of time and they haven't let me down once.

Impress with the output and sq.

This 8" sound like 10" subs..put two firing down on a custom seal box under the seat of my brothers extended cab silverado powered by an old school soundstream rubicon 25x2 watt amp. They sound better and louder than my two kicker 10's power with a 900 rms watt kenwood amp. (Im sure they will sound way better in a ported box) the reason why I chosed this subs for my brothers system when i was designing it for him, was because i have the 10" Ab xfl's and i have been highly impress by them. The XD's are heavy little subs, have a stiff suspension and look sexy af and still sound good and are at a good price. The only con was that i couldnt get the ts parameters to plug in to termlab. So i just build the box "freehand". Over all i recomend this product.

I got these subs to replace my old ones I had I some bazooka tubes and man I am impressed. These have a great magnet and put out a good solid bass

Amazing Subs

These subs are way underpriced... sound like a pair of 12s, only need .7 cu ft. Per subwoofer. Cannot beat the build quality... would recommend as a budget or all around buy. Sonic as always was amazing in helping me with this purchase.

I have 2 of these wired to 1 ohm in 4 cubic ft box with a 6x6 port tuned to 30 hz and these things push a lot of air and slam the lows they'll even slam on mid 20s!!! Never run hot never bottom out and hold every bit of 300 RMS easy I'm getting 4 more highly recommend no con's that I can see
