Tightened up the bass A LOT

These bass boomers were the perfect addition to brand new blaupunkt 6x9's in my civic. They fit perfectly in the rear deck holes of the civic and the blaupunkts fit perfectly in that. The one thing i really liked about these bass boomers is that u can fine tune your system. Those holes at the bottom are awesome to find the right balance of air to the speaker. all i did was cut them one by one until i got the perfect sound out of my 6x9's. They really tightened up the bass.

Good Product

These are all they are advertised to be and are pretty cheap insurance for your speakers. Verify that you have room for them in you application.

Protective

They are cheap buy so if you don't end up liking the sound quality you can always throw them out. I recommend buying these if you want to keep dust off the magnet, backing and wiring.

Take the time to port after you install

Worked great for rear deck speakers protecting them from the sub. If you're disappointed at first try opening the ports, it will probably improve the sound.

Good Insurance for the price

I bought these for my 6x9's I was installing in my front doors. I didn't want any water getting on the new speakers when it rained and went into the door. They are easy to trim to fit and I feel much better with them in there. I didn't use them to "tune" with, I cut a big slot in the bottom so if water did find it's way into these it had a good place to drain.

they suck

I attempted to use these with two Boss 600W 6X9s. They made the speakers sound like they were in a tunnel. Totally made the speakers sound like crap and I took them off right away and never used them again. Good theory but they don't work.

American International 6x9 Speaker Covers

These really do work. They are about the cheapest thing you can buy when it comes to car audio. They really work. My 6x9's in the back used to "pop" because my bass from my trunk was trying to have the air escape and so they would push up on the 6x9's. These solved the problem. I ordered 2 pair just so i could install them in my friends car. Great item!! They do seem kind of flimsy so trying to strengthen them would be a good idea. Definetely buy these!!

SPP-69clf

i would recommend this product to some one who has knowledge of sound systems. It was difficult to tune(drilling holes) but if your looking for something to seal the rear end of your speakers this product is for you
