Great Heavy Bar Grills

I was hesitant to order these because the pictures look like thinner wire. Make no mistake, these are heavy duty and very strong. I was immediately impressed with the heavy gauge bars and overall quality of these grills. Well painted and a bargain for the pair. They come with screws and mount outside of your subs. These grills will go on my Dodge Ram Quad Cab under rear seat up firing fiberglass/mdf box to keep the under seat carpet off the subs and will look great doing it. FYI... They measure 1-9/16" from bottom of flange to underside of bar. That should give you an idea if they will work with your subs considering your surround and sub excursion capabilities. I'm glad I didn't spend more on the GS ones.

Quality Product

I bought the 10GB-Black. The thick gage metal and the black finish can take most direct hits from things that would normally damage paint. I am happy with this product. I wish they had it for an 8" woofer.

Too shallow and too narrow

These grills look great and are heavy duty steel but.....the mounting points were too narrow to fit over the rubber surround without forcing or having to try and bend. Second they are too shallow if you have subs with long throw like I do, the foam on your subs will hit the grill. I remedied this by making some spacers to mount them to. Not everyone has this luxury or same subs. Mine are Massive Audio Summo 10" and they have a lot of excursion.
