great buy

compliments my w7 great quality bass knocks!!!

Great box!

I used this box for NVX VCW-12-2 paired with a JAD1200 and this set up works great. The box is 1.85 cf tuned around 36hz, this was almost perfect for what the NVX recommend for this sub. You can really see a difference in the construction compared to other boxes I have owned.

Great craftsmanship

The box is build REALLY well. It’s as heavy as you’d expect empty and close to 80 lbs with the speaker. Worth every penny to get the W7 to reach a new loudness. Wish the speaker connectors would take a 10 gauge wire. 12 is the most it will fit.

not happy

i got this to put my alpine type R 12 in as the specs seemed like it would be great for daily use... man i was wrong... sub wouldn't fit and i had to cut the box up to fit my 12 and the range was garbage... it falls on its face with anything lower then 32hz... i wish i would have just gone with a sealed prefab or taken the time to build a basic box... this was the worst box i have ever used

Great box, poor packaging

Got this box and the box is awesome but came with three damaged corners. Sonic offered a partial refund, actually i did and they agreed to refund me part of the cost without me shipping it back. It would cost me to fix the box and they were great and cooperative, love the service, not just crutchfield who should be glorified for their service Sonic is on par with them! And minus the crappy packing likely by Atrand without Sonic involved im pretty sure, but not positive. So the audio gets 5 star sonic gets 5 star build quality 4 protective metal corners like in pro speaker cabinets would be awesome and i intend to install those myself, and yeah the shipping gets minus -8 points for being lazy and cheap not putting on extra protection like cart-board layers to protect the corners. Its made of mdf, go to home depot and take down a sheet and let it slam on the floor, and see what happends. You break it you buy it and you just bought a broken sheet of mdf. Same here. It is strong top down not side to side.
