Excellent headphones
These are by far the best sounding headphones I have ever listened to. The clarity, detail, and soundstage depth, almost make you forget you're listening to a recording. Just remember, if you plug these into an ipod or phone, they will sound good but they will not sound their best. Theyre meant for high quality recordings (FLAC, apple lossless, LP's) played through a receiver or a dedicated headphone amp. They dont artificially boost the bass or over-emphasize the treble; they faithfully reproduce the sound the way it was intended to be heard. My only complaint is occasionally when there is a high pitched sound or a strong 'S' sound, it sometimes sounds harsh and almost piercing. But I notice as these headphones break in, this has gone away for the most part. Overall I rate these 5 stars and believe whoever orders these will not be disappointed.
