Great headphones. Great service.

Headphones arrived fast as hell in less than 2 days. I am loving every minute of them. Very well balanced, comfortable and overall great. Not much else to say other than now I am wanting to get the 50x :)

Best sub $100 cans, period

The following review is for a previous version (ATH-M30).

For the price point, they are unbeatable. A little heavy on the bass, but very smooth. Mids are slightly recessed, and highs are crisp and clean.
Sound a fit are comfortable, and I can wear them for hours. I've had them for a few months and they've held up well; except for the strain relief spring which pops out easily. Got it back in and keep it there with a bit of heat shrink. While you could use them for studio work, I wouldn't use them for mastering. Go for something more like the Beyerdynamic DT880 or AKG K702, but are also over 5x more expensive.

good value

The following review is for a previous version (ATH-M30).

I like the sound, the comfort of wrap-around headphones and the long cord which allows me to listen to DVDs late at light and my internet radio (turning the little sound it produces into a symphony.

Spatial Imaging

The following review is for a previous version (ATH-M30).

I find the bass to be balanced, distinct and secure. It is not overly pumped as is often the case with lower priced headphones. These headsets produce a balanced and even response across both the dynamic range and frequency spectrum.

They are comfortable to wear for extended periods, though they are not vented and can become a bit moist in the ear cups. I like the long cord, so that I'm not tied to my gear and can sit or recline where I choose. These are definitely designed for indoor use and are not a "jogging" headset.

Decent and durable

The following review is for a previous version (ATH-M30).

I like them, they sound decent to me. A little bit better after being broken in a bit. A little too large to wear out and about and the cord is too long for that anyway (sorta drives me nuts)
Ive actually had mine for a while now and they have held up during my use and my 6 year old playing with them also so pretty durable

Wow what a great pair of headphones. Great dynamics at a great price. I initially heard them at a Recording Studio and had to have a pair. Thank you so much!

Great product at a very affordable price.
