Nice line driver, eq, crossover
I added this to a mid-range system with a below-par head-unit. The overall impact on sound quality was remarkable, and this product allowed me to achieve a much smoother frequency curve (using android based RTA) than I was able to achieve with my 3-eq-band head unit. Installation was relatively simple, as was setup. The maximiuzation lights are helpful, and the time-alignment knob is very nice. Cross-over seems excellent in my opinion. My one complaint is that the unit seems lacking in high frequency eq. I still have a slight peak at 4k and 12k that I have struggled to effectively flatten out. I wish I could at least move the subwoofer 125k eq band to 4-6k.

Blew after only three days of use
I loved this thing when I first hooked it up! The setup was easy. Moving the sub to the front made a huge impact. Setting up the L to R delay really made the soundstage centered in the car. The equalizer settings are amazing too: you can even equalize the various bass frequencies on the subwoofer channel. The clip protection lights are a mega convenience too. I had this for three nights and when I came out to my car in the morning: it was toast. I drove and listened to music I thought was flat only to discover the subwoofer output wasn't working. AudioControl didn't respond to my request for support for two days so I returned it and am now waiting for a (double the price) Helix DSP come in.
